Eliza POV

It's been about a week since the whole gang came out. I'm just shocked at how my young sister is gay, but of coarse I support her!

I've tried my best to avoid Alex, but it's hard to avoid someone when you have almost the same schedule as them. The only classes that we don't have together is math, English, art, and PE. Everyday, my sister's seemed to be less happy. Two days after we all hung out, and my friends seemed to change.

The bell rang and it's time for lunch. When I open my locker, a piece of paper falls out. I open it up and see that it's a letter. It says:

    Dear Eliza,

We have known each other for only a week. I must say that I have never felt anything like this. Sometimes, I meet you in my dreams. I ever fantasize about you at night.

I can't get your image out of my mind. Your long dark chocolate hair, your chocolate chip eyes, your skinny figure. Even your adorable personality that came out our first conversation. The way that you get so focused in every boring, useless lesson and forget about all your surroundings. You, in generally, are adorable and desirable. Anyone will be lucky to have you!

        Your friend,

               A. Ham

Peggy- Oh my...

I turn around and see Peggy, Maria, and John standing behind me reading over my shoulder.

John- What's that?

Eliza- Nothing.

Maria- If it's nothing, can we read it?

Eliza- No.

Maria- Why not?

Eliza- Because.

Maria- Because? That's your answer?

Eliza- Yep.

John- Says who?

Eliza- Your mom!

Peggy- But, we have the same mom...

Eliza- ....so?

John- Is there something bothering you?

Eliza- No. Jeez, can you guys just leave me alone? I'm fine! See, I'm smiling! WOOOO!!

At that point, everyone around us was looking at us. I decide to whisper so no one can hear us.

Eliza- Ok. If I tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone!

All three nodded their heads. I give them the letter. I hear them mumble some of the words, eyes slowly wide.

Peggy- OH MY GO-

     John quickly covered her mouth.

Eliza- Can we just talk about this at lunch?

John- Of coarse! Peg looks like she's about to rage because of hunger.

We all walk to lunch. The girls split away, when John calls for us.

John- Where are you guys going?

Eliza- Umm.... lunch?

Maria- Can we not eat anymore?

John- No-

Maria- Excuuuuuuse meh?

John- I mean, you should eat with the boys now. We're all friends!

Maria and I exchanged looks. I gave her a sharp look with my eyes narrowed and eyebrows raised.

Maria- Ugh... fine.

We all sat down. Throughout lunch, Alex and I looked at each other, no longer than 3 seconds though. Afterwards, I decided to talk to him.

Eliza- Alexander....

Alex- Yes?

Eliza- Alexander, I... can I talk to you please?

We both look around, with the whole table looking at us.

Eliza- Alone?

Alex- Yes, of coarse.

I grabbed him by the arm and pull him to the library.

Alex- What do you need?

I awkwardly gave him his letter. He immediately recognized it. He crumbled it up and threw it behind him while talking.

Alex- Yeah about that. L-lets just f-forget about that, a-and go back to l-lunch...

Eliza- Alex, wait.

He turned around and looked me deep into the eyes. I grabbed the crumbled paper and a pencil and wrote a note on there, gave it to him and left.

Alexander POV

Eliza left me with the old note. I open it and see Eliza's name and number.

Yep, today was a good day...

So.... this may have taken 5 hours to write, believe it or not. But I took a long break because of homework, dinner, band, and just got distracted. Anyways, stay  positive XOXO!
