Ch 21- The Reynolds Pamphlet

(oooh new POV!) Angelica POV

        I was walking around town when I noticed a lot of people staring at me and whispering to their friends. Then, I heard someone mention Alexander. What is going on?

       Someone even came up to me and gave me a pamphlet and says "congratulations". What? I look over it for 5 seconds and i'm already angry. Ooooh that son of a b*tch called Hamilton is going to pay. Well, I have to find him though. I look over it some more. Wait, Maria Reynolds? Margarita Schuyler?? Why are they part of this? I need to find them.

       I walk to our mom's house to find my sisters and Maria on the floor talking.

Angelica- Margarita Jasmine Schuyler, we need to talk!

Peggy- What did I do this time?

Angelica- We need to talk in private. You too Maria Lewis.

       They follow me outside, where I call Alexander. After about 5 minutes, he gets here.

Alexander POV

Alex- Angelica, what's up.

Slap!

Alex- Ow! What the he-

      Before I can say anything else, she shows a piece of paper in my face. I read a bit of and look at Maria and Peggy.

Alex- So this was a set up?

Maria- ...yes.

Peggy- But it was for everyone's safety.

Angelica- Safety? Is that so?

Maria- Yes. Please Angie, you have to believe us.

Angelica- I do believe, but I need a word with Alexander in private.

Alex- Angelica, can't you-

Angelica- Meet me inside Alexander!

        I follow her inside because I'm honest scared of this side of her. When we walk in, I wave to Eliza awkwardly, but Angelica shakes her head at Eliza to make her stop waving. We walk into Angelica's room, where she slams it shut, making me jump, and locks it.

Alex- Angie-

Angelica- Don't do dare call me that!

Alex- W-what? But I thought you liked being called that-

Angelica- Congratulations, Alexander. You have invented a new kind of stupid. 

Alex- But I didn't write-

Angelica- Let's review. You took a rumor that maybe two people knew or more and refuted it by sharing love lives between your friends and no one has accused you of. We all even begged you to take a break, but you refused to. 

        I look down. I seriously can't believe I'm being roasted by Angelica. 

Angelica- You're always so scared of what your enemies might do to you when you're the only enemy you seem to loose to!

Alex- Angelica-

Angelica- You've redefined your legacy, congrats.

Alex- It was an act to save popularity, ok? It was to save it instead of sacrifice it!

Angelica- Sacrifice? What's more important: you're fame or you're loved ones and the only people who will ever love you?

       I actually didn't know so I just shrugged with an "I-Don't-Give-A-Crap-Anymore" look. She looks fumed, oh God. 

Angelica- Do you even know how much my sister cares about you?? She was possibly the one person who will love you for you and not because of you're popularity or your background.

       Ohhhh no she didn't go there.

Angelica- You know how I know that? Because I know her like my own mind. I swear, you'll never find anyone as trusting or as kind. And you know what? A million years ago, she said 'This one's mine'. And we all knew what this was all a dare, but we stood by. Do you know why? We all actually love Eliza more than anything in our lives. I will choose her happiness over mine every time, and I'm sure that the rest of the gang will do the same.

        She points to the door, tears forming in her eyes. Of coarse, she raises her voice. Oh boy.

Angelica- Are you even paying attention?

         No, cause I don't care anymore A-Angelica (don't you dare).

Angelica- Eliza is the best thing in our freaking lives! So never loose sight of the fact that you've been blessed with the best of women! So, for the rest of your live, every 'sacrifice' that you make is for my sister. So congratulations-

Eliza- A-Angie? C-can I....

         She didn't finish. All we heard was her crying. Oh no. The last thing we need is her figuring out. Well, I should've know that she'll figure out one day. Angelica, now fuming, opens the door. Peggy is standing behind Eliza. Eliza looks up, comes in, and starts to push me and cuss, which was something that she almost never does. Maria comes in and tries to rip us apart along with Angelica and Peggy's help. They pull us apart with Peggy and Angelica holding her back, and Maria holding me back.

Eliza- You freaking frick! I hate you!....

        She keeps going on and on and on..... Until she breaks down. Angelica starts to pull her out, but not before saying:

"God, I hope your satisfied."

 Sorry for almost always doing lyric chapters. I try my best to change up or add words to it, but it almost always comes out the same. Anyways, thanks for reading my book. It means a lot, especially with difficult things going on rn in my life! XOXO
