the next few weeks seemed to go by fast for the two lovers. they became more comfortable around each other and each others friends. they all started meeting to make the 'wedding plans' that was set for the day after grad. jaehyun had made plenty of jokes about it and teased taeyong when he blushed after brining it up. many people were invited and all had kept in their laughter when they were told what they were invited to, the only ones who got almost as excited as johnny and yuta, was jungkook and yugyeom.
despite all the teasing, jaehyun and taeyong seemed to have became the power couple of the school. both thought they were fine and everything was swell until jaehyun made his way to taeyongs locker after his last class of the day.
jaehyun turned the corner to find taeyong being pinned against his locker by some kid who seemed to be much more broad. three other boys stood around almost as if they were to keep tae trapped. jaes blood boiled underneath his skin as he made his way over to the group.
"fags aren't allowed at this school." jaehyun heard one of the boys speak to his boyfriend. "you need to learn your place." another followed up.
that was all it took for jaehyun to reach his limit, well that and the fact that the only one that should have taeyong pinned against a wall should be him. he pushed past the three boys standing around the other two and managed to speak in a calm manner.
"I strongly suggest you take your hands off my boyfriend." he fake smiled. the boy scoffed and merely turned to glance at jaehyun. "and I strongly suggest you back off before you end up next." jaehyun rolled his eyes at that. the boy seemed built but even his intimidating appearance and harsh features didn't change the fact that he was touching jaehyuns boyfriend.
"who even are you?" jaehyun asked harshly. it was the boys turn to roll his eyes now. "the only thing you need to concern yourself with right now is beating it before you get your ass beat." taeyongs eyes went wide at that and felt like he shouldn't let jaehyun fight his battle. "please just leave me and him alone." taeyong practically whimpered with fear.
the muscular boy didn't even have to speak to inform taeyong of his annoyance. all he did was raise his fist, but before it could come into contact with him the built boy was on the ground holding his jaw in pain. the boy took only a few seconds before realising it was jaehyun who threw the punch and got to his feet immediately.
jaehyun blacked out after the first few punches and only heard the whisper of his name and someone nearby yelling out the name 'shownu'.
taeyong got jae home with the help of johnny and yuta, and laid him on the couch in the living room before setting off to find some first aid supplies to clean jaehyuns many cuts with. jaehyun had been knocked out once shownu started violently punching him and practically beating him into the floor, when johnny and yuta had came down the hallway looking for taeyong and jae.
they had informed them about the kid who beat up jae and taeyong was decently shocked to learn that the boy had always been that way towards gays, despite rumors going around about shownu being gay himself, or at least being just a little bit interested in the same sex.
taeyong had stayed quiet throughout the whole little lesson and kept tending to jaes drying cuts. the immense sting he felt in his cheek was what made jaehyun wake up, and to find out that he was in his own home was slightly frightening considering the fact that the last time he was conscious was when he was in the schools hallway.
"you're stupid you know." taeyong chuckled. he assumed jae would feel a little upset about the whole scenario that went down and decided to try and make him feel a little better. "I don't care if protecting you makes me stupid," he defended. ", I wasn't just gonna watch those guys hurt you and not do anything." he flopped back down on his back with a slight wince at the limited pain he felt shoot up his spine.
"but look where protecting me got you." taeyong gestured to jaehyuns face trying to point out the many scratches that littered his face. jaehyun just shrugged and gave a simple 'its better than seeing you get hurt' before closing his eyes momentarily. taeyong rolled his eyes, half in good nature and half at his boyfriends stubbornness.
"johnny knows the boy that did it." yuta piped in. jaehyun looked at johnny momentarily before giving him a 'tell-me-now' look before closing his eyes again. "the boys name is shonwu," johnny paused for a moment to think ",I think the three boys he was with were named hyungwon, minhyuk, and hoseok." jaehyun nodded his head and stayed quiet.
that action worried taeyong a little since jaehyun was always a little more talkative when his friends were around. taeyong reached over from his spot and caressed jaehyuns hair slowly and leaned down and pressed soft kisses to all of the seven cuts on his face. jae smiled lightly and kept his eyes closed, enjoying the way taeyongs hands felt in his hair.
"you'll probably get in trouble tomorrow for fighting." johnny stated. the look on jaehyuns face was priceless. his expression looked as if he was sad, mad, and confused. in jaehyuns head he was questioning why he would get in trouble when he was sticking up for someone. on the other hand, taeyong was thinking about the consequences that would come with getting in trouble.
"if your wondering why its because there was a small group of people watching from the side a little bit away when we got there." johnny said. he looked apologetic when he said it and also a little hurt himself. "I'm pretty sure a few people recorded it too."
"and shownu is the principles' son." yuta added.
"fuck my life." jaehyun whispered.

[ alrighty kiddos, my phone is broke so here is another update. it may not be fixed for a while so enjoy. I wrote this on my moms laptop that I rarely get to use so I might not be able to update for a bit. don't hate me for this chapter either, I love monsta x, but I think shonwu would be a really cool person to play the 'bully'. I also don't know where this story is going butnhope you are all enjoying. also on the last update when I published it the sentences got moved around a bit so it may look a little messy.
