Rob's POV

When I was about seven I was playing baseball. In the middle of our game it started raining really hard.I called my parents to pick me up.I waited for about an hour with my coach before the cops came.They told me that my parents crashed into a tree and my mother died on impact.My father died while being helped out of the car.

I went back to the pack house and the Alphas held a pack meeting to see who would like to raise me. The pack whore raised her hand. I moved I'm with her the next day. The first week was fine it seemed like Amber might actually be an okay parent. I was wrong , turns out she just wanted to prove to one of the pack members that lost his mate and had a child that she could raise someone else's pup.Once the man fell for the trap I was kicked out of her house. I decided to move back into my old house that I shared with my parents.

The alphas believe that I still live with her. See I had a agreement with Amber I would move out to stay out of her new families way and I wouldn't tell on her to the alpha as long as she supported me.I think its a good deal besides its the least she could do. I mean I could be kicked out of the pack or worse,killed, if the alpha found out that I have been lying to him.

It was my turn to patrol the boarder.Everything was going fine until I smelt two different smells. One smelled like roses and vanilla. While the other smelt like blood.My wolf growled.

"Vampire has mate!" he said

Oh hell no there is no way that the last person that is supposed to care for me is going to be killed by a vampire when I have never ever meet her yet. I ran as fast as my four legs could take me. The scent was getting closer and closer. I jumped in the air and collided with the vampire hoping that my mate got away same. I looked around for her but I couldn't find her. She must have went to go tell the alpha.

I watched as the monster stood back up. I started growling but when she turned around I stopped.

"MATE. That is mate." my wolf said.

That's impossible my mate can't be a blood sucker. Why would the moon goddess do this to me of all people.This has to be a mistake. I looked up to her face and I couldn't deny that she was beautiful.When our eyes met that's when I knew that she was undoubtedly my mate. I think I can grow to love her. The only thing that is stopping me from claiming her is that the alphas might band me from the pack. I already am not really wanted this will give them the excuse.If other packs find out I will definitely not be excepted. I will become a rouge. I can't survive as a rouge but I think I can survive without my mate.
