Y/N has just moved back to Azusa, her home city, granted it's not the best place to go back to, but she hasn't been doing so well; she was a straight-A student, that worked hard on everything, she came from a poor family, and her mom had to raise 2 kids all alone, so she felt like she had to prove herself. Her father left when she was 5, so she would always help her mom a lot, especially with her baby brother. She got into a good college but didn't feel proud. She was always having weird mood swings all her life but didn't go anywhere to get help. Little does she know she has bipolar disorder. Long story short she started going to parties and missed classes, and eventually, she got kicked out. Now she is an alcoholic and is addicted to molly, but at this point, she doesn't care.

Finn has always been a party animal. He loves the rush of adrenaline he gets when he's getting chased by the cops, or when he's taking various different drugs. He's addicted to the feeling it gives him. He comes from a poor family just like Y/N. His father is abusive, and a drunk. Whenever Finn got beat, he would always look to his mom for help, but she would do nothing. He hates his father and resents his mother but he does feel bad for his mother because she gets hit too. He tries to be as nice as he can to her, even though she doesn't deserve it. He feels so alone, but will only tell certain people. He doesn't want to talk to a therapist, he doesn't have to money to get one anyway. He thinks it's stupid telling someone you barely know all your personal stuff. He goes to parties to get away from the abuse. He drinks, take drugs and gets into trouble to forget the pain. He doesn't think anything will change and that this is his life.

Benny has always looked up to his sister. He admires to be her one day, so when she comes back he becomes disappointed. When she left he took on the role of taking care of their mom, and help her out with money. He thought that when she did come back she would help solve their problems not add to the pile.

Jack Grazer

Jack is Finn's best friend they do everything together. They get into trouble together, drink together, and take drugs together even though he doesn't like doing it. He only gets into trouble so that he can keep an eye out for Finn he cares about him a lot, he always brings Finn to the hospital when he gets hurt or gets into fights, and he's getting tired of it but he can't bring himself to leave his best friend. His dads a cop so they try not to get caught, well at least Jack doesn't, but Finn always says that he would get into more trouble then Jack would. He just rolls his eyes. Jack knows about Finn's dad, and how he abuses him. Jack always try's to help Finn when he's down and he will always be there for Finn.

Wyatt Oleff

Wyatt's Y/Ns best and only friend. They meet at a party; the first party Y/N went to, she was invited by her roommate. She didn't know what to do at all and Wyatt thought he would help. After that day they were inseparable. They went to every party together, they ecstasy together, they became the most badass people on campus. Eventually they did this so much that they got kicked out together as well. Its weird how they are friends though, Wyatt comes from a rich family, and Y/N comes from a poor one. His parents don't care about him they just care about his success. Y/N was the only one that saw him for him and not some rich, snobby, fuck boy. They are perfect best friends.
