The monster finally realized that Tord was scared, and not just playing with him like he had previously thought. He immediately let go of his terrified human, and dropped his red hoodie down beside Tord, returning it. The monster then bent down, and licked Tord's cheek to show he ment him no harm.

Tord opened his eyes and looked up at the monster, his fear quickly being replaced with confusion. He cautiously grabbed his hoodie and threw it back on before pulling himself up to his feet. "A-aren't you going to kill me?" Tord asked the monster with a puzzled expression.

The monster shook his head, then decided to lay down beside Tord to make himself appear smaller and less threatening. When he was lying down, the monster's head was a bit higher than Tord's eye level, meaning he only appeared to be about 7 or 8 feet tall instead of 20.

"If you're not going to kill me, then what do you want?" Tord asked, much more confused than scared now. The monster barked at Tord, then laid his head on the ground, signalling for Tord to climb onto his back. Tord hesitated, but eventually he climbed onto the monster's back, seeing as it didn't seem to mean him any harm. He held onto the monster's soft fur as he stood up, then started sprint down the street on all fours.

The monster brought Tord to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. The half-standing structure was completely barren, minus the debris and rubble from its crumpling frame. It may have been cold, dark, and falling apart, but it was the monster's home nonetheless. Once inside, Tord slipped off the monster's back, and quickly surveyed the building.

"Where are we?" Tord asked, scrunching his face up at the sight of the dingy warehouse the monster had brought him to. The monster ran circles around Tord, then patted his hands on the ground, trying to non-verbally communicate that the warehouse was his home.

Somehow, Tord managed to understand what the monster was saying, but he was still confused as to why the monster had brought him there. "So, why did you bring me here..?" He asked, glancing up at the monster who wiggled his butt in the air and wagged his tail happily.

The monster nudged Tord with his snout. He wanted to play, or more specifically, he wanted Tord to run around the warehouse so he could chase the human. Tord didn't seem to understand what the monster wanted, so he let out a low whine and swatted at the human with his large hands.

Tord swiftly dodged the monster's hand, his fear rising once again. Maybe the monster really did want to kill him? The thought made Tord turn on his heels and run in the opposite direction of the whining monster.

The monster yipped happily, seeing how Tord was playing with him again. The monster chased after his human, until Tord ran into a wall and tumbled over. The monster took that moment to jump at Tord, planning to pin him down again, but Tord rolled out of the way at the last second, and the monster slammed face first into the wall.

Tord laughed at the clumsy monster, who was sitting on his hind legs, shaking his head to try and to get the stars out of his vision. The monster heard Tord's laughter, so he got up and started chasing the human once again. Tord screamed and once again ran from the growling monster, but stupidly ran right into a corner, trapping himself.

The monster jumped at Tord, but in his excitement he failed to notice his body transform into its much smaller half-human form. The monster's half-human form looked much more similar to a human, minus his tail, horns, ears, and his black, clawed hands. His eyes were pitch black, albeit surrounded by a purple glow, and small purplish scales littered his cheeks. This form was much smaller than his regular one, being only 5 and a half feet tall. The monster sunk his sharp teeth into Tord's arm, making the human scream and struggle to get the monster off of him.
