I crumble up the note and toss it on the ground in anger. Liam retrieved it as I carried the bag. Willow was waiting for us when we got to the pack house, her eyes were sparkling with curiosity and excitement when she saw the bag in my arms.
"What's in the bag."
"Will..." Caleb began to cry as Lukas held him awkwardly.
"Willow will you help me?" Lukas asked.
"Sure." She went off with him. She was so happy. I can't break her heart.
"She liked willow trees. I want to bury her next to one."
"I know the perfect place." Ryan said. He linked Lukas where we were going, it was outside the city. Liam grabbed a shove and followed us. Ryan led us to a lake and beside it were two large willow trees. Liam dug a grave for her as I took the skeleton out of the bag. Once he was done I placed her inside.
"I'm sorry." Ryan said quietly. I didn't say anything but I looked at the hole she was in.
"Zek!" I turn to see Willow with tears in her eyes. "Why is Caleb here? Where's Ms. Violet? I don't understand I-" She saw the grave in front of us and her eyes started to glow blue. The flickered from blue to brown. Willow is won and she slumped in front of the grave in tears.
"Why did she do it why?"
"Willow she-"
"I'm sorry I can't." She got up and ran towards the packhouse.
"Wil-"
"Let her go." Liam said. "We should finish covering it up." It took another hour until it was complete. Liam and Ryan left as I decorated the grave. I put wild flowers around the border of it. When it was completely finished I sat in front of it.
"Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have left you alone. What did they do to Caleb?" I asked. I got no reply and I started to get anger at her.
"You know our story and you did to same to Caleb? You left him alone and without a family! He will never know you. I don't understand." I cried. I wished she was still here. Then her voice floated through my ears. The promise that she asked me to keep. Caleb's not alone, he has us. I stood and looked at her grave one last time.
"Thank you for raising me and my sister and I promise I will do a great job raising your son." A strong smell invaded my nostrils, a very familiar smell. It made my stomach turn. Willow's voice entered my head.
"Zek, help!! There's to many of them!" Her voice started to break up, like she had bad signal. "I...help...can't...alone...Ze-" Then her voice disappeared. Kaden stirred inside my head.
"She's in danger! We have to help her!" He said. I used my wolf speed and ran towards the city. The smell of rogue was everywhere. There were at least a thousand of them. I see Lukas' midnight wolf run beside me.
"Lukas! Where's Will?"
"I don't know? Have you seen Lucy?"
"No." The air started to feel cold. She was close.
"This way!" I ran towards the forest, through the forest was a large open field. Lucy was in wolf form standing next to Willow's little wolf. She was bleeding from the from her shoulder and her ankle looked snapped. Lucy stood protectively in front of Willow. In front of them were thirty rogues. Lukas ran in front of Lucy and growled at them. I stood beside Willow and checked her injury. Ruby was healing her but she couldn't fight yet. She licked my cheek. One of the rogues shifted and stood in all of his naked glory. Willow whined and turned her head.
