*Claire's POV* ( sorry I haven't been changing POVs :/ )
I woke up to my phone buzzing. When I looked at the screen, I saw that Ash had texted me about Ellie. Shit! I forgot about that. I got out of bed, quickly, and threw on a jumper that I had on my bedpost. I ran down the stairs and opened the door, breathing hard.
"Hey!"I said, breathless.
"Hey. You ok?" Ash asked me, sounding concerned. He was wearing a t-shirt and swim trunks.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just forgot." I laughed. "Why you wearing swim trunks?"
"Oh! Um, me and the boys are going to the beach and I was gonna ask you if you wanna come?"
"Erm..." I didn't know what to say.
'Claire, just do it! Don't do it, Claire, don't!' my conscience kept telling me.
"Sure. Yeah, I'll come." I smiled.
'Dammit, Claire! You never listen.' Half of me said.
"Great!" Ash smiled.
"Erm... wanna come in and play with Olivia while I get ready?" I asked.
"My little Olive!" he yelled, practically running inside.
"I'll take that as a yes..." I said, quietly, as Ash ran up the stairs and checked all the rooms for Olivia. I heard Olivia squeal and that's how I knew that Ash found her.
I was about to close my bedroom door, when the door bell rang.
I opened back up the door and yelled, "I got it!"
When I went downstairs, I opened the door to Chloe and the boys.
"Hey!" I said.
"Hey!" they all said together.
"Claire! Are you going to the beach?!" Chloe asked excitedly.
"Yeah, you?"
"Mhm! C'mon! I have something for you to wear." she said letting herself in and pulling me up the stairs. I turned to the boys with a confused face.
"Trust her, Claire. That bikini she has for you is HOT." Luke winked.
"Luke! You just ruined Chloe's surprise!" Cal nudged him.
"No way! No bikinis!" I said as Chloe pulled me into my room and closed the door.
"Why not?! It'll look great on you!"
"No it won't!"
"You haven't even seen it!"
"I don't do bikinis, ok?"
"At least try it on? Please? For me?"
"Chloe!"
"Claire!"
"Fine! I'll try it on. But I'm wearing a shirt over it!"
"No you're not."
"Yes I am."
"First, let's see how it looks on you, ok?"
"Fine." I said.
I walked into my bathroom and changed into the bathing suit. It was really pretty. It was blue and ombré and had ruffles on the top. I walked out and Chloe had changed into her swim suit. She was wearing a bikini that was plain white with the top twisted in the middle.
"You look amazing!" She said excitedly.
"No I don't."
"Yes you do!"
