* Lauren's POV*

I never got why my sister thought she was ugly and fat. In my eyes, she's perfect and I love her the exact way she is. Some of my friends thought she was really pretty too and I told her that, but she never believed me. she would always say, " Lauren, shut up. They're just being nice. Trust me. I'm not pretty ." Then she'd walk out of the room without hearing what I wanted to tell her.

I wanted to tell her so much. I wanted to tell her everything. I wanted to tell her that she's not fat, guys check her out all the time, and I knew some kids on our block in Ireland who secretly had a major crush on her, but were too chicken to ask her out. She needs to know. She deserves to know. But she can't. She just can't accept a compliment or a fact. She pushes it all away. She needs someone to help her find it. Find her confidence, I mean and I'm the right person to help. This move I promised myself that I'm going to do it. I'm going to be the " love doctor" as my dad liked to call me because I helped my best friend Alexa get back with her boyfriend, and I'm going to find the perfect guy for Claire. I know everything about what she looks for in a guy. After all, I AM her sister.

*Claire's POV*

I woke up to Lauren hitting me with a pillow yelling, " Claire! Get your butt uppp! We have school today, don't you remember?!?!"

" Lauren," I replied sleepily, "of course I know we have school today. How could I forget the worst part of moving?"

"Awww! Claire, I wish we went to the same school so me and you could eat lunch together!"

"One more year and then we'll be in the same school. Don't worry, you'll be totally fine without me."

"Um, hello? No I'm not! It's going to totally suck!"

"No it won't. Now go get Jessa and Sam up. They're the ones you should be getting up. School starts earlier for them."

"Don't you mean Sam. Jessa woke up today at 5 just to make sure she looked perfect. You know how she is." she said rolling her eyes.

" You better get going then. Sam isn't a easy person to wake up."

"Right." Lauren said while jogging towards Jessa and Sam's room.

I laid there in bed with my mind blank. Then I turned to my right, where my clock was, and it was 7:30. So, I got up to go get ready.

I did my usual morning routine and then I put on my usual make-up. Nothing special. I then got dressed some skinny jeans, a simple "Nirvana" shirt, making sure to tuck it in, and then I put my hair up in a messy bun. I pretty much tripped downstairs because I was running late. I grabbed a piece of toast from the kitchen counter, put on my black vans, said a quick goodbye, grabbed my new Jansport backpack, and then I sort of ran to the bus stop. Oh yea, did I mention that I hated riding the bus on the first day of school?

On the bus, there was no seats so I sat with this quiet girl who looked nice I guess. I wasn't in the mood for talking and it seemed like she didn't want to talk either.

To distract myself from the awkward silence between us, I pulled out my phone to see that I had 5 new kik messages, a ton of notifications from most apps that I never go on, 9 text messages from my friends back in Ireland and Japan, and a bunch of other stuff too.

The rest of the bus ride was quiet, other than the often sound of a ringtone or someone coughing. Next thing I knew, we were at the school bus drop off stop. Everyone got up and started rushing off to their groups, the loners taking their time, like the girl beside me. I got off and went straight to the office, where I would get my schedule for the year. I got the occasional weird looks from people and girls whispering to each other about me when I passed them on my way to the office. The new girl. Gosh, this was going to be a long school year.
