*Chloe's POV*

Cal said he would walk me home "the back way" . I'm not gonna lie, I was kind of scared. Today, Ashton finally kissed Claire and I think it got Calum thinking about us and if we would kiss. I didn't even know there was a back way to my house. Was Cal just saying that to lead me away from the others and give us some privacy? I've never been kissed, therefore, you know...

Right now, we're walking the opposite way from my house.

"Ok. I have something to admit." Cal said once we were out of sight.

"Yeah?"

"There isn't a back way to your house."

"I knew it! Where the hell are we going then?"

"There's this park, behind my house. Me and my sister always used to play there after school. It's really special to me, and I wanted to show you it."

"Oh, ok." I said, hesitantly. Why was I so worried anyway? It's just Calum. He'd never hurt a fly.

We walked into his neighborhood silently.

"Ok, this way." he said walking over to the house on the corner. It wasn't his house, but it was his next door neighbor's.

He walked to the side of their house and at the end, there was a small gate.

"Erm... Cal?" I asked. It was dark and I was scared.

"Yeah?"

"I really shouldn't be out this late. I should get home."

"Relax." he laughed, grabbing my hand. " I won't let anyone touch you." he said, giving my hand a squeeze. I trusted him, I really did. So, I followed him through the gate.

The gate led us down a small slope and then to a dark pathway through the trees.

"It's gonna get dark, ok?"

"Ok."

"Just hold on to me. I got you."

"Ok."

I squeezed his hand tighter as we walked into the trees.

"Me and Mali found this when we were messing around when we were kids. It was newer back then, but since nobody really knows about it, it's gotten a little rusty. I go here when I'm mad or sad or something. I just feel safe, you know?"

"I don't have a place like that. My room I guess." I giggled.

"I sometimes sneak out in the middle of the night and go here." he laughed. He stopped suddenly. " Ok, we have to go right."

I followed him right and it brought us to an old river. It was muddy and I hate mud.

"Hop on." Cal said, noticing my disgusted face.

I did as he said. He carried me on his back through the river and put me down when we got to a wall of leaves.

"Mkay. Just hold on to me, ok?"

"Ok." I replied.

He held my hand as we walked through a really small opening in the wall.

"Here we are." he said.

It was a small playground with a metal slide, a swing set with two swings, and a small structure with games on it like tic-tac toe, and a fireman's pole.

"Woah. Why in the world would they build this in the middle of nowhere?"

"I don't know." Cal shrugged. He walked over to the swings and sat, motioning me to come and sit next to him.

I went and sat on the swing.

"You know why I brought you here, right." Cal asked me. He was playing with a pebble underneath his foot.

"Not one clue. Why?"

"Because it's special and...you're special to me." Cal said shyly, looking me in the eyes.

I stayed quiet. What could I say? He's special to me too? He was, but that would be cheesy. He drew me away from my thoughts by leaning in and kissing me. I kissed him back, both of us turned slightly on our swings so we were facing each other and holding on to the chains on the side of our swings. So this was my first kiss. The two of us at 10 at night, both of us sitting on the swings and kissing. Perfect.

We played around for an hour or so, sliding down on the slide and showing off our swing tricks.

He guided me back to the neighborhood and walked me home, the right way. He kissed me sweetly goodbye and walked all the way back to his house.

I pretty much screamed when I got into the house. Caleb was the only one awake and once again, he thought something bad happened. I told him everything and he said he wanted to meet Calum. I brushed him off. He's only 14 anyways. What does he know?

I didn't call Claire right away because maybe Ash was over and I didn't want to disturb them, whatever they were doing. I decided that I would go over tomorrow and tell her. I was way too excited I could barely sleep.
