Ch 3 Part 3: The Truth

Randy's POV

"Randy son, why would you reject your mate?" I heard the alpha ask.

"I wish not to speak of it alpha, may I please gather my stuff and leave as we had discussed earlier?"

Everyone in the room was confused except for Mia and Seth who looked to be in a daze, I was not sure if he had gained control back from his wolf or not.

"Son, that is no longer a possibility, you are to be luna of the pack, you can't just leave your pack. As luna, you have the responsibility to care for the pack and you know that the pack cannot function without a luna," the alpha said, trying to sound kind but I did not care for his kindness at this point.

"With all due respect sir, we already broke my bond with the pack, I am no longer a member of this pack therefore you cannot force me to stay if I choose not to," I replied defiantly with a raised chin, daring him to argue with me. We stared at each other for a few tense seconds waiting for the other to back down until I felt my mom gently touch my shoulder. I broke my stare and looked at her.

"Honey, why do you still wish to leave the pack, earlier I thought you wanted to leave because Alaistair could sense that your mate was not in the pack but now that we have established that he is indeed in the pack, why do you still wish to leave?" she asked me softly with sadness in her eyes.

"I absolutely refuse to be mated to him mother and I damn well will not be luna to this horrid pack, I would rather die first," I spoke with venom in my voice and finality.

"Please tell me why son, please?" she begged with concern.

"Well let me see, maybe it's because the pack has treated me like scum ever since I came out, more especially Seth and Connor. Did I tell you that they all bullied me, them especially? All those cuts and bruises I came back with on almost a daily basis were from them. Remember the weekend I didn't return home and you thought I was at a friends? Seth and Connor had invited me to our old cabin, I stupidly thought they were sorry and wanted to be my friends again but lo and behold was I wrong, oh was I wrong. They beat me until I was blue and purple then continuously cut me, as if that wasn't bad enough, they repeatedly took turns raping me until I lost consciousness and threatened to kill me if I told anyone so no mom, I will not be staying here any longer," I cried out, falling to the floor and hugging my knees to my chest. At that point the room was a dead silence, you could hear a pin drop, I had not even told Mia about what had happened that weekend.

A sob broke from my mom, Mia and the luna until they broke free. My brothers and father had murder in their eyes while the alpha looked at Seth with such disgust and anger he visibly flinched.

"Seth please tell me that that is not true, please son, tell me he is mistaken, that you did not do those things," the luna begged. It seemed he could not bring himself to face her or any of us for that matter. A loud slap went out through the room and I realised that it was the luna who had slapped him.

All three women fell to the floor and hugged me as if their lives depended on it and they would not let me go.

Arastoo, dad's wolf let out a chilling growl that had the glasses shaking, accompanied by Gideon, Rogers wolf and Achilles, Mark's wolf the glass shattered. They were beyond furious, it seemed they were out for blood but I could not let them go out on a rampage so I gathered my strength and stood up Alaitair letting out a warning growl of his own. They immediately backed down though they were still on edge.

"It is fine, I appreciate that you want to revenge me but I do not wish for you to do so. You are still a part of the pack besides I will not have any bloodshed in my name, there's always a peaceful way to settle things," I said shakily.

The alpha looked sadly at me and sighed, "You would have made a good luna son, I wish you well on your journey." That seemed to have awoken Ares, Seth's wolf, "My mate will not be leaving, he is to stay here with me and lead the pack alongside me."

That seemed to have riled everyone up, including the women in the room. "Ares, you will not speak of my son, his name shall not pass your lips. Where were you when your human was hurting him? You're just as much to blame as him and over my dead body will my son stay here," Alyosha, mom's wolf growled angrily.

"Let me at him Alyosha, I'll teach him a lesson," Mia's wolf Andrea growled.

Alaistair and I were growing agitated by the second, "Enough." We both growled, our voices fusing and eyes flashing causing everyone to fall on their knees before us. We continued growling, the others struggling to get back on their feet but we were too far gone to notice until Ares spoke, agitating us further causing the ground beneath us to shake.

"Shut up Ares before he kills us all," someone shushed him. I couldn't seem to focus until Alyosha spoke, "Baby please calm down for me, please baby, yours and Alaistair's anger is wreaking havoc." I looked around me and noticed that I was indeed wreaking havoc, the ground seemed to be shaking and there seemed to be a storm outside. I focused on my breathing and calmed down, "I'm so sorry mom, I have no idea how I did that." As I calmed down, everyone was able to get back on their feet and mom hugged me to her.
