so i just had a really deep talk with my older cousin.
it was like he really had to talk to me about it.
we even went out for dinner to talk about it lmao.

i'll leave out a lot of details though,
because that's cousin business 8).
anyway, one part was about growing up.
he asked me "why are you in such a rush to grow up?"

then i broke down.

at shakey's.

eating my mozzarella sticks.

what made it worse is that coincidentally,
my classmate was at the table beside me.
but that's alright, she's not one to care lol.

i said "it's because of the cousin age gap.
i'll be your age and then all of you are probably
working, and i'm still stuck in school."

then he went on about how that would
never be the case and all my cousins still
love me and all that stuff.

then i started going on about why i changed myself.
it's because of kids at school. they're growing up fast,
and i just wanted to be accepted.
then he said something like:

"kids your generation are always in a rush to grow up,
that's why they're all soft. for example, they're the first ones to
get into relationships, which will mean they'll also be the
first ones to get heartbroken. they're leaving out so many parts
of their lives that help them grow to the point that they forgot how to be kids. so don't change just to please people. who are they to care?"

that proves my cousin is singlehandedly
the wisest college kid i know lmao.
my classmate left and thAT WAS GOOD NEWS.
because i ended up rambling to my cousin
about school friends and why they don't like me ;(.

in the end, my cousin and i were good.
he even asked me "we're ok now, right?"
and i nodded.

like, i already said i'm not looking for anyone,
and i would deffo love to be single, it saves time.
but srsly, if i get a boyfriend when i'm older,

i'd love to do the spiderman kiss.
like the tobey maguire spidey
where he's upside-down n' shiz :P
that'd be the best relationship ever.
