let's talk about my
life in school...

it's not that good...

so uh let's learn a
foreign word which
many people, not
including i, use
in the school;

barkada

n. barkada(s) is Filipino street slang means a group of friends or a gang of youth that is lazy studying school. Most consider this a Filipino-English word due to usage and scattering of this word over the Internet and Philippine Media like legit Newspaper. Filipino writers and playwrights are using this word just to make their articles even cooler.

anyway, i've got nothing
like that in school. i've
got that cafeteria table
"barkada" but to be honest
i don't think i can call it that,
we're not really that close lmao.

besides, we're forced to be
seated together due to our
student classnumbers, so if
it weren't for that, i'd probably
be sitting with no one other than
whoever feels like talking to me
i guess probably because them
and their best friend are in an
argument and i'm their last resort.

i am very antisocial and awkward.
so, if ever i reached out to somebody,
it's probably because they're more
socially awkward than me?

i don't have much school friends,
like i said in one chapter. i enjoy
some people's company though.
some.

i hate saying i'm popular,
because i kinda am. for
really shallow and stupid
reasons. now, everybody's
trying to copy what i do,
like joining the bandwagon
of my fandoms, learning how
to play guitar, etc.

you'd think i should be flattered
about all this, and well, i'm trying.
all the copycats get all the glory,
because they mooch over a shy kid.

sometimes actually, i'm not all that shy.
i can be very loud from time to time.
i'm that kid in class who doesn't give
a crap, even when their skirt flows up
or something, y'know? but in the end,
it all depends on the people watching me.

teachers don't really like me either.
i've tried getting on their good side
but whatever i do it goes wrong and
they end up hating me. the only teacher
i love mutually rn is my adviser of my first
year in this school. too bad she left.

if you'd ask me who my favourite
teacher this school year is, i'd
probably say my guitar teacher AHHAAH.

my academics are average
i guess. i'm not the best,
but i couldn't say i'm the lowest
either because some are lower
than me, too. no problem with
that. all i'm wondering now is
why the heck is filipino (91)
my highest subject like i suck
at that man. maths (86) is of
course my lowest lmao.

(edit: whoops i checked,
and my highest was actually
art, my grade was 92. still,
it's pretty surprising for filipino
to be my second highest)

anyway that's all. i was
bored i was writing this
getting ready for school.
