Okay, Riverdale is getting good again. After literally like ten episodes. The last episode was really tense and I loved it and I mean we all kind of knew who the Black Hood was going to be, it wasn't a big surprise. But like I still feel sad about the season, like I feel like they could have done so much more with it (I do actually like it in a kind of guilty pleasure way, I swear). So anyway, these are just some of my opinions on how things I would have preferred about the season as a whole.

I think we can all agree on this tbh because it's true. So I was looking up for a montage of Choni scenes (I have no shame) and it was nine minutes long which would be decent if it weren't for the fact that Bughead had a combined 25 minutes and the only Varchie compilation I could find was 11 minutes long apparently with just kiss scenes.
What the fuck Riverdale? Not crapping on the other ships because I think it's great that they got buildup. Bughead felt really sweet and natural with the way it built up, they got to know each other and then kissed and slowly grew close. Even Varchie were cute season 1 with the way they liked each other and then got together and they both felt natural.
Choni, whilst adorable, deserved more. Rather than endless Varchie scenes of inconsequential sex, we could have had small scenes of Choni at first being at odds when the Serpents joined with a lot of flirting. They could have worked together to resolve a conflict of some kind of had a cute chance encounter or just talked a bit more. I did like the way they got together, it was sweet but it could have been well spread over several episodes with a lot more buildup.
And also, why have we only had one kiss so far? They cut their songs, they only really put their arms around each other. This season could have been a lot more to do with them and I feel like it was a missed opportunity.
