Okay so a few people have asked me how I make my fake Instagram profiles for my social media books so I made a tutorial. I'm not the best at explaining things so if there's anything you're confused about comment or pm me and I will try and explain. I only use Canva to make them and Pinterest to find the pictures. As I don't know how much you guys know about Canva as some people don't use it, I've tried to make the explanation as simple as possible for you guys, so I hope this helps!
ONE
So first I just searched 'Instagram profile template' on google (although there are some on tumblr) until I found one that I looked how I wanted. If it's easier, you guys can screenshot the one below:Anyway, so then I made a custom dimensions canva page of 800px x 1222px on Canva. I added the Instagram profile template I'd found on the internet to canvas as an image and scaled it up so it took up the whole page.
TWO - So the next thing I did was go over all the grey boxes with Canva frames and grids. For the circular profile picture, if you go under 'elements' and then' frames' and scroll for a bit you should come to a circular frame which you can just drag onto your page.
For the 6 x 2 grid, it was a bit harder as canva annoyingly doesn't have a 6 x 2 grid. Instead, I just took two 4 x 4 grids, scaled them down so they were squares and then used two of them to make it up. The 4 x 4 grid is quite easy to find, just go under 'elements' then 'grids' and it's like the fourth one down. It will scale the grid up to fit the whole page but you can just scale it down.
