The Resurrection Stone LIES

This is a formal announcement that I think the resurrection stone is A LYING LITTLE BITCH and does NOT BRING BACK THE DEAD! (Okay, this was in my last book but I'm really proud, okay? I never manage to think up theories)

I'm sorry but I cannot and will not believe that Lily, James, Sirius and Remus were encouraging him to die. Lily and James who died to save Harry would just casually be like "Yeah, go die, Harry, follow Harry's twisted little plans".

Okay, firstly they were like twenty one so there would probably be a lot of swearing, like so:

(Remus would probably say similar things about his son, it seems like quite a Remus thing to say)

I refuse to believe that Sirius Black would just be like 'Yeah, death is nice, like falling asleep' and that James would just be like 'You are nearly there. Go die, my son." Lily would not just say 'we're so brave' and then shut up other than some stupid 'always' THAT THE FILMS PUT IN BECAUSE J.K WOULD NEVER DO THAT, IT DIDN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!

Also as Harry was dying, they were completely silent like NO? There would be a lot of yelling and "I will fuck him up, Harry, I will FUCK HIM UP!" followed by "WE'RE DEAD REMEMBER?". There would be a lot of crying from people, even Remus would kick up a fuss, they would not accept Harry dying lying down, I refuse to believe that.

But here is my theory...

Instead I believe that when Sirius said, "We are a part of you... Invisible to everyone else" that he meant that they were literally figments of their imaginations, if they were actually ghosts they would probably be seen. They were all based off of what Harry remembered of them or what he hoped they would say which is why they completely validate his decision and offer no challenge.

This is why Remus sounded the most like Remus, sort of calm and actually remorseful but Sirius was different and James and Lily were way off. He'd seen Remus very recently and could remember his mannerisms and speech well so he was quite accurate. He hadn't seen Sirius in so long, he'd kind of forgotten how he'd react and with James and Lily, he'd never met them which is why they simply offered hollow words of comfort "You've been so brave" and "You are nearly there... we are so proud of you." It's almost like they are just saying what Harry thinks parents should say and what he's always wanted to hear, that they were proud of him.

It also offers some comfort that the real Lily Potter didn't say always, it was just that Harry had just seen the memories and was like "Oh, she should say the same thing as Snape because he loved her" and it made sense in his mind, IT WASN'T THE REAL LILY!"

They were not the real Lily, James, Remus and Sirius and nothing will ever convince me that they were - E x
