DEEP DARK AND DANGEROUS

CHAPTER 19

RYAN P.O.V

“Are you going to man up, Jared?” I asked.

“I should but I don’t know how.” He said.

“Okay so like you call her up and be like ‘listen I have a girlfriend who I love very much and you’re fucking it up for me. I understand it’s hard losing a baby and you want another but I’m sixteen and I’m not willing to give you a baby that I don’t want.’” I said to him. “Or just text her because that’s easier.”

“Can you do it for me?” He asked handing me his phone. I opened it and scrolled to her contact and sent her a message.

‘Listen, I have a girlfriend who I really want to be with and I don’t think she is very happy about you wanting to have sex. She likes me very much and I have the same feelings for her. Maybe someday we can try to work something out but for right now I don’t think its the right time. You’re only sixteen, you don’t need to have a baby. Maybe in a few years you can try again but not with me.’ I sent it.

“I know. We can give her the twins!” I said. He looked over at me like I lost my mind.

“We can’t do that.” He said.

“Why not? My mom is just going to leave them with me and I don’t want kids.”

“Ryan, no.” He dropped it after that.

“Where are we going?” I asked.

“I don’t know.” He said sighing. He did that a lot lately.

“She wrote back.” He quickly took the phone from me. As he read he wasn’t exactly watching the road either and slammed into a telephone pole.

“Oh my god! Are you okay?” He asked as he put the phone down and reached for me.

“Yeah I’m fine. Your car isn’t though.” We both got out and looked the damage.

“My mom going to kill me!” He started flipping out. “But if anyone asks I was looking at you doing something and crashed.

“Who are we suppose to call?” I asked as we stood there. An old man from across the street who saw it happen came over.

“Are you kids okay? I called the police.” He said.

“We’re fine thank you.” I smiled at him. We could hear the sirens before we saw the cars.

“Is everyone okay?” He asked as soon as he got out of the car.

“Yes, Sir.” I answered. Jared’s mom pulled up after that.

“Jared, Ryan! Are you okay?” Oh my god! People! None of us are lying on the ground with blood pouring out of us, we are fine.

“Yes mom.” She hugged us both. “I’m sorry.” He answered.

“It’s all right.” She answered. Of course they had to call an ambulance to make sure me and Jared were okay. “Do you need to call your mom?” She asked.

“No. She probably doesn’t care anyway.” I answered walking away and into her car where Jared already was. “Are you happy she wasn’t mad?” I asked as we watched his car get towed away.

“Yeah but my car.” He said. You could hear the sad tone in his voice.

“I know. I’m sorry.” I pulled my phone out and was reading this story about Cameron Dallas, the famous viner. It was about him having a one night stand with a girl he had fallen head over heels in love with but she had no idea. Once they realized she was pregnant, they spent all day and night with each other. When she is three months pregnant she passes out and she finds out she has cancer. She can’t do chemo while being pregnant and if she doesn’t she will die. After giving birth she dies. “What the actual fuck?!” I shouted as me and Jared were laying in bed. He was half asleep.
