Musa is in her temporary room, thinking about what Vanessa said.
"She's right you know," Musa hears a voice, but nobody is there.
"Who are you? Where are you?" Musa jumps in shock.
"Over here Sweetheart, on your nightstand."
"Mom?" Musa walks over to her nightstand where a picture of her and her parents is resting, the picture was from the Day of the Singing Whales when her mother was still on Magix.
"Hello Musa," a smiling Matlin looks at her daughter, "I sense you are having a problem," Matlin finishes.
"Mom, I don't know what to do. My ex came back, but I have a boyfriend. I really like my current boyfriend, but Riven and I have been through so much. Ed, my current boyfriend is great, but Riven still has a place in my heart," Musa picks up the picture and sits on the bed holding the frame in her hands.
"Who was that lady who you were talking to before?"
"That was Vanessa, she is Bloom's Earth mom. Bloom's Earth parents were there for us when we had our mission to find the Last Fairy on Earth. They are like second parents to me."
"I'm glad that you have friends who care so much about you. But your dad is still your father and he should know what is going on," Matlin says implying that Musa should tell her dad.
"Mom, Dad likes Ed but Riven will always have a place in my heart. Dad doesn't like Riven that much, I mean he respects Riven after he helped me defeat Stormy but he still doesn't like him."
"Why doesn't your dad like Riven?"
"Riven is the bad boy type. He has good intensions but a rough exterior and tends to come off as a jerk."
"Your dad is only trying to protect you."
"Mom, I know that Dad is only trying to protect me, but I thought that fathers are supposed to want their kids to be happy."
"Have you tried talking to your Dad?"
"No, it always ends in an argument and the only defense I have is what you guys had. How you stopped singing classical music and how Dad rejected his royalty."
"We listened to our hearts, that is what you need to do," Matlin says to her only daughter.
"I don't want to let Dad down or even lose him, I almost did once." Musa has a sad tone.
"Sweetie, you will never lose your father, when he sees you with whoever makes you happy then he will realize that you have what we had. Listen to your heart and talk with Bloom's parents. They sound very wise."
"Okay, thanks Mom," Musa responds.
"No problem Sweetie, I am always in your heart when you need me. I love you," Matlin says.
"I love you too Mom," Musa says putting the picture back on the night stand.
There is a knock on the door.
"Come in," Musa responds to the request.
"I found these in the spare closet, I figured they might fit you," Vanessa brings in a sweatshirt and matching pants, "Mike is at work and I have an employee watching the flower shop so we can take a trip to the mall."
"Thank you so much Vanessa," Musa takes the clothes.
"Musa, you can call us 'Mom' and 'Dad', we have known each other so long we see all the Winx as our adopted children. Besides you guys are like sisters to Bloom."
"Thanks Mom, it feels nice to have a mother figure. I haven't been able to find one since I lost mine when I was little."
