~Harry's POV~
Going through all the pictures on my phone was in a way, depressing. Most of them were of Peyton and I, but thinking about it made me want to be back home more and more. Even though I loved it here with Louis, Liam, Niall and Zayn, I still miss home.
"Who's that?" Louis asks, looking over my shoulder.
"My best friend, Peyton."
"She's cute. Do you like her?"
"I don't know." I say. "It would be a lot different between us."
"So? You guys would always be friends anyway, even if the whole dating thing occured."
"I don't know Lou. It's really hard just being away from home right now. I don't think it's a good idea."
"Fine. But when you realize you really like her and she's already taken, you'll realize your mistake." He says, walking back over toward the boys.
I sighed. I didn't want to lose Peyton that easily. But I really wasn't sure about liking her. What would she even think about it?
"Harry, we have to practice for tonight's show!" Liam yells.
I quickly send Peyton a text, and set one of our pictures as my wallpaper.
Miss youu! Maybe I'll be home sooner than we think :) Gotta go practice now. Love ya. xx
I toss my phone on top of my hoodie, and go over and join the boys.
~Peyton's POV~
I felt an awkward sense of speration between me and the rest of my family. I wasn't exactly in the forgiving mood and it was just an unusual quiter day for me.
"Peyton!" My friend Cassie yelled from down the hall.
I look her way, while she was running to catch up with me.
"What's up with you today? You seem, well, quiet."
"I'm just not really in the mood for talking." I admitt, hoping she changes the subject.
"Is it because Harry's gone?"
"A little."
"Well, maybe you like him?" she said elbowing my arm.
"I don't want to talk about this Cassie." I say a little irritated.
"Sorry. Well, X-Factor is on tonight, want to sleep over and watch it?"
"Sure. I'll talk to you later."
"Alright, I'll call you!"
I smile, and walk out to the parking lot to my car.
It was different driving home by myself, usually Harry and I would either drive home together or we'd ride the bus.
Passing all the stores brought back so many memories of the days where Harry and I would goof around town, sometimes getting kicked out of stores. Those were the days.
As I pulled into my driveway, I glanced over to Harry's house. His mom was working out in the garden, so I decided to say hello. I got out of the car, and leaned against the gate.
"Hey, Anne!" I said.
She turned around, and smiled. "Hi Peyton, come here! I need some advice."
I pushed the gate open, and kneeled beside her.
"So should plant the flowers on this half or that half? Or maybe not plant flowers at all?"
"Well, maybe plant the flowers in those hanging pots and hang the up on the porch?" I suggested.
