Chapter 13:Past Truths and Trouble Brews

(3rd person pov)

Everyone was sitting in professor oobleck's class as he was zipping back and forth giving his lecture about the Great War, (Y/n) Haru and Lilly were all sitting together in the same row meanwhile across the room Team CRDL sat with their faces bruised and bandaged,they glared at (Y/n) and Haru who brutally put them in their place after witnessing they're open bullying of a Bunny Faunus girl who was sitting now a few seats away from Lilly at the other end of the row.

She would occasionally glance in their direction for a few seconds seemingly lost in thought before turning back to the lesson. (Y/n) noticed her looking over once and smiled while waving at her a little causing her to blush and quickly turn her head in a different direction avoiding eye contact with him making him and Haru look at her with a questioning look, then turning to each other and shrugging before turning back towards the lesson.

Prof Oobleck:"(sips coffee) Now while this might seem like ancient history to most of you it's important to remember these are relatively recent events, why the repercussions can still be seen to this day (sips coffee), Now have any among you been subjugated or discriminated for your Faunus heritage?"

(Y/n) raised his hand having already known first hand what it was like to be discriminated upon along with Haru and Lilly, out of the corner of his eye he could see the girl he and his team stood up raise her hand a bit shyly as well

Professor Oobleck:"dreadful simply dreadful remember students it's precisely this type of behavior that breeds violence(sips coffee), I mean simply look at what happened to the white fang (sips coffee)"

(Y/n):"what exactly is in that coffee he's drinking?" (Y/n) whispered to Haru

Haru:"Its probably laced with LSD or something or he's just that much of a junkie for coffee" Haru whispered back as they watched professor oobleck zoom back and forth

Professor Oobeck:"now which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorists believe to be the turning point in the 3rd year of the war?...yes" he said as he pointing towards someone sitting higher up

Weiss:"the battle of fort castle" she said with confidence in her voice

Prof Oobeck:"precisely!" Announced the professor as he flashed back to his desk at the front of the classroom "Now can anyone else tell me the advantage the Faunus had over general Lagunn's forces?"

Lilly had begun to raise her hand to answer professor Oobleck's question but Jaune who'd been napping the entire time was startled awake after Cardin flicked a paper football at his head

Jaune:"Ow hey!" He said as he turned his head around

Prof Oobleck:"Mr arc finally contributing to class excellent! Excellent! What is the answer?"he asked Jaune who nervously scratched he back of his head trying to come up with the something since he hadn't bee paying attention

Jaune:"the...uh...answer?..."he trailed off as he looked past professor Oobleck towards Pyrrha who cupped her hands on her eyes and began gesturing a circular motion with them "binoculars"

He said out loud causing the class to begin snickering and laughing meanwhile professor Oobleck zipped back to his desk

Prof Oobleck:"very funny Mr. Arc. Cardin?" He asked Cardin who had his feet propped up onto he desk was sitting at

Cardin:"well I know it's a lot easier to train an animal than a solider, just make sure you "beat them into shape" and like my dad always says "there's plenty more where they came from" he sneered as the rest of RDL snickered while looking over in (Y/n),Haru and Lilly's direction
