"I'm gonna get another piece of pizza, hold my turn!" Sam laughed as he ran to the kitchen, standing at the doorway with a giant slice. "Mmm. Duval, you still make the best pizzas!" He finished his slice and moved back onto the floor beside his sister.

I laughed, "Thanks, Sam. I'm just glad you enjoy it."

"Enjoy it? He makes a pig out of himself!" His sister teased, poking her brother's stomach.

"I can't help it if Duval is an amazing cook!"

"Hey. I do most of your cooking. Is something wrong with the way I cook?" Luke asked, looking at Sam and his sister.

Sam shook his head. "I mean an amazing pizza cook."

We all laughed and my phone started ringing. Luke wasn't playing the game, so I told him to take my turn for me if I wasn't back beforehand. He nodded and I headed out the door.

"Hello?"

"Duval, is that you?"

"Yeah, what's up, Flint?"

"I think your brother is kind of on to me. I found someone I really like spending time with, and he's the sweetest thing and I've been hanging out with him a lot. There's no pressure, no orders... I think this is the type of life you'd talked about."

"That's exactly the type of life I talked about. Having someone who loves you and who you love. Someone it's easy to be yourself with."

"He's a werewolf. Like you. Only he's not actually a werewolf, he's a weretiger. I'm going to try and make a good job of your brother, but I just wanted to let you know what was happening."

"I do appreciate that, Flint. Just remember, keep everything done well. I'm a great ally, but if you screw me over I'm more ruthless than my brother. And I like you. I'd like to have you over when all of this is done. Maybe have you and your guy over for a family game night."

"I..." There was a pause as Flint thought of what to talk. "I'd like that, Duval. Demeter always said if he caught me with a guy he'd tear my dick off and shove it down my throat. I don't even know if Devlin knows I'm gay."

"If he hadn't known when you'd been flirting with him back in the day then I doubt he knows now. Might be a fun way to take care of him. Right before the finish tell him."

We both laughed. "The look on his face would be priceless. I would like to bring him around sometime. Have my guy meet you at the very least. You're all the family I really have left, but first I want to meet up with all of you on my own. I don't think the others like me very much."

"They don't, but if we explain to them what's happened and why you acted the way you did all the time then I'm sure they'll understand."

"Thank you, Duval. For everything."

"No problem. Enjoy your night." I said, hanging up the phone. When I turned around Angeline was at the door, waiting for me.

"So he's not taken care of yet, I'm guessing."

I shook my head. "Sorry. I know you're waiting on it."

She held up a hand. "I trust your judgment. I trust you. You're off tomorrow, right?"

I nodded, "Why?"

"I was wondering... Would you help me move?"

My heart sank. "Move? Where?"

"Here. With you. I'm living here anyway. Unless you don't want me to move in, that's okay. I just wondered if you'd help me."

"Of course." I smiled. "And of course I want you to move in. We'll start as soon as we can. Have you gotten everything sorted out with the landlord? Is she alright with everything? Is everything cleaned up and ready? Is there anything we need to do before you're officially moved in and only living at one place?"

She laughed, hugging me. "Nope. I've gotten all my mail moved around and transferred so that's already being sent here. The only things left to get are like the bed and stuff. I figured with as big as my mattress is we could either use it for a spare or replace one of the ones here or use it down in the sparring room or something."

I smiled and nodded to her. "That sounds like a really nice idea. Maybe we could use it in that cage and treat it as a special spot for just us during a moon or something?" I grinned.

She blushed, laughing. "Maybe." She said, tapping my nose with a finger. "Duval." She paused.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you. For everything. For all these years when I never said it and should have. Thank you."

"Don't think about it. It's what friends do."
