Chapter 30  

Reunion

Jace POV  

I can't forget about the kiss and make-out session. It was out of this world. Thank god that I got help from Matt on my style. She didn't even recognize me which was kind of hilarious. He also helped me by showing me some of his techniques that he uses on girls. And I am so grateful because otherwise I would have totally sucked. Angie and I have this indescribable connection. Although we are kind of the opposite we still fit together perfectly. I don't know but I think I am in love with her. I walk up to my fathers villa. He took everything. I will probably never get over it. Ever. But I need the money. Even if it means confronting a twin sister that I haven't talked in four years. I ring the doorbell. She opens the door.  

“What?” she says.  

“Let me come inside.” I reply and squeeze through the door. I sit down on the couch, her opposite of me.  

“So... How's it going?” I ask.  

“Okay. What do you want from me, Jace?” she asks.  

“We don't have enough money. For everything. Mom says that I won't be able to go to college. So since he is my father as well I thought he should give me some.” I say. Telling her he is also my father really hurts. I don't see him as my father anymore. He is just a person that abandoned me.  

“I'll ask him.” I am about to stand up when she grabs me by my wrist and pulls me down again.

“How are they doing?” she says with tears in her eyes.  

“They're fine. How is it going with you and Hannah?” I ask because I can' think of anything else.  

“Who told you? Did Matt tell you? Oh, no! Shit! Probably the whole school knows that I am in love with her. They probably also know about our make-out scene on his bed! NO!” she shouts.  

“Wait! Slow down. You are in love with Hannah and you had a MAKE-OT SCENE on MATT'S BED? What?” I say.  

“He didn't tell you? I swear if you tell anybody I will kill you!” she says.  

“Do you want to talk?” I ask.  

“Yes. Please.” she says, crying.  

“So what happened?” I ask.  

“I have loved Hannah ever since I met her. And a week ago I confessed my love to her after 4 years.  She rejected me. But then we met at Matts house for our project and she kissed me and we made out. But then Matt came in and ruined everything. Then she ran away. And I ran home. And then I did something I was not proud of and here we are know. Don't even bother asking what I did, I won't tell you.” She says.  

“I am speechless. But what was the thing you aren't proud of?” I ask.  

“I won't tell you. But thank you. I had to talk to somebody. I'll bring you out. And I'll talk to dad.” she says.  

“Thanks.” I say and we hug on the porch. I leave.  

One day later  

I text Angie.  

Hey. Can I come over? You know to work on our project ;)

Sure! Can't wait ;)
