Seven-
My eyes flew open as my alarm screamed in my ear. I slammed my hand on it, muttering profanities at it as I pulled myself out of bed. I remembered Drew falling asleep here, so I went downstairs to check on him. He was quietly snoring on the couch. I rolled my eyes, then nudged his leg.
"Get up or well both be late for school. I'll drive you," I said as he groaned, looking up at me.
"Please tell me you have clothes I can wear," he muttered. I nodded, chuckling.
"Yeah. Get some food, I'll grab the clothes," I told him. He nodded and rubbed his eyes, getting up.
I grabbed a pair of Drew's skinny jeans and his shirt from the laundry room that he had left here from previous nights of falling asleep on my living room couch.
I walked out and tossed the clothes to him. He go dressed in the second bathroom as I quickly showered in mine. I got dressed in a Batman shirt and dark blue skinny jeans. I did my hair and eyeliner quickly and then slipped on a silver studded belt and my converse, slinging a strap of my book bag over one shoulder. I ate some cereal, left my mom a note then got into my car with Drew in the passengers seat. We started down the road.
"Dude, you're screwed," I told him with a short laugh. He groaned.
"I know. I'll be fine," he muttered. I shook my head, smiling with humor as I drove us to school.
We walked in and Dave found us along with Dennis . It occurred to to me then, and I realized that all of their named started with 'D'. Dave, Drew, and Dennis . Like, triple D. Like the bra size. I chuckled to myself.
"You look like shit," Dennis told Drew, laughing. Drew flipped him off.
"Yes I know this," he muttered. Dave laughed.
"Hard night with Rebecca?" Dave joked. Drew slapped the back of his head.
"Dumbass, no. We haven't even gone on that date yet, get over yourself," he said.
"But she's youre girlfriend though? Right?" Dennis asked.
"I'm so confused here," I said.
"Yes she is, but still," Drew second. Dennis and Dave both nodded in sync. I chuckled again thinking of the bra size thing earlier. Drew looked at me.
"What are you laughing at?" he asked. I shrugged.
"You wouldn't understand," I said.
"You don't know that," Dave said. I nodded.
"Okay. A few minutes ago I realized all three of you, your first names start with 'D'. So triple D. Like the bra size," I said. It didn't seem that funny to me anymore.
"So now I'm a bra?" Dennis asked, smiling with an eyebrow raised.
"Told you guys you wouldn't understand. You weren't born with boobs so," I said. Dave placed both hands over his chest. I laughed.
"I wish I was. I would totally be a triple D," he said. All four of us laughed. Heather then found me and came over.
"Hey," she smiled. I smiled back.
"Hey," I said. "What's up?"
"Nothing. Cool if I hang out?" she asked. We all nodded.
"Of course!" Dave said. I could see a flicker of fondness for Heather in his eyes, and I was sure he was forming an attraction to her.
As of that moment, she had on a pair of black skinny jeans and a Beatles shirt. Dave pulled his eyes from her.
"So wheres your Rebecca?" Dave asked Drew. Drew pulled out his phone to answer a text from Rebecca.
