Nine-

I rolled over on my bed and rubbed my eyes. I checked the alarm clock. It was about ten in the morning. I groaned and got up, heading to the shower.

After I was done, I walked back into my room and got dressed. I pulled on an Avenged Sevenfold shirt with black skinny jeans then yanked a hoodie over my head. I dried then did my hair and eyeliner in the bathroom and switching out my nose ring before pulling on shoes and running downstairs. I sat on the counter and ate a bowl of cereal while my mom and I talked.

"How was the show? I only was there till the second to last song I had to go to the store," she said. I smiled.

"It was wicked. They loved us. We got flipped off by some haters while signing autographs but eh. The show was great," I told her. Her and my dad and brothers were at the show, but left early. That's was alright. As long as they saw me preform and were proud I was good.

"That's great," she said. I left the kitchen and walked down to the basement, sitting on the couch.

My basement was where the band and I practiced if we weren't at Dave's or Drews. Mainly, it was at Dave's or my place. Drew had a basement but his parents used it for storage mostly. So yeah, it was the garage at his house.

I got a coke out of the fridge down there and sat back down when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out to answer a text from Mike.

Mike: Good morning. Wyd today?

Have work at three, then maybe hang out with the guys. You want to come along?

Mike: yeah ofc

Great(:

Mike: yes. I have to go, see ya <3

bye<3

I closed the messages and played my playlist on shuffle on the speakers. I sang along to each song to myself for like, an hour, texting the guys the whole time. Keep in mind, "the guys" also included Heather and Dennis , most of the time.

I paused my music and walked back up, and hung out in the living room with my brothers till I had to leave for work, listening to them tell me how much they loved the show.

"I got to go, bye guys," I said. I waved once from the door then walked out. I got in my car and drove off to the mall.

Once I got there, I instantly took my hoodie off and laid it behind the counter. It was warmer inside than outside. Stacy came up and smiled at me.

"Hey, missed you," she said. I smiled back at her.

"Yeah, same," I said. She was a bubbly girl, with short bleach blonde hair and heavy eyeliner. She was a little bit shorter than me, but usually wore platform combat boots, but not today. Just a pair of red Vans with black skinny jeans and a pink Superman shirt.

"Is my work station back to normal or do I still work stock?" I asked. She chewed on her thumb nail.

"You're back to the register, but if its a slow day you can come help with stock of you want," she said, smiling. I smiled back and nodded.

"Cool," I said. A few people walked in and looked around. I was highly confused at one chick who walked in. She wore super short white shorts with an Areopostal crop-top and these weirdass looking sandals. She had an obvious spray tan, and had the typical prep hair style.
