I sat at lunch, surrounded, as usual, by the guys. The guys now including: Drew, Dave, Heather, Dennis, Jake, and Mike. Mike sat beside me, but didn't have his arm around me like usual, which didn't bother me, only made me curious. He gave me a quick kiss before running off somewhere. What the heck? Dave looked down and Dennis stole a fry.

"Damn you people, why do always take my food?!" I cried. He laughed.

"Because I can," he said, smiling crookedly. I laughed and rolled my eyes.

"So, Mitch is coming back tomorrow," Drew told me. I nodded.

"Yeah, and he's got some news on our next show he out together," I said.

"Awesome!" Dave exclaimed. I smiled and took a drink of my Mountain Dew.

"I know, right? Oh, anyway, I've got work today to after that we can maybe have a practice after at Dave's place," I told them. Jake nodded.

"That's cool. I've got to go in and replace one of my strings, anyway," he said. "It somehow snapped while I was angrily tuning it..."

I laughed. "That's why you don't angrily tune it."

"Duh," Heather teased. Dennis stole another fry off my plate.

"Damn you!" I cried again. They all laughed.

"I don't find my pain to be a laughing matter," I said sullenly, which only made them laugh harder. I chuckled.

Dennis's P.O.V.

I stole another fry while she wasn't looking and Dave laughed. Jay looked at him with a confused look.

"What you laughing a- fuck you, Dennis!" she said, looking at the half eaten fry in my hand. I shoved it into my mouth.

"Love ya," I mumbled. Wait. Did I just say that out loud? Oh no.

"Yeah yeah," she chuckled. I mentally sighed in relief.

Jay's P.O.V.

After school, all of us were hanging out at the park. School just ended an hour ago and Dave and Dennis were on the slides, Drew and Heather were on the merry-go-round, and Jake, Mike, and I were on the swings. We also scared off every parent, causing them to leave with their children. It was hilarious.

"I am mentally a six year old," Dave yelled from the slide as him and Dennis slid down together. I laughed.

"Aren't we all?" I chuckled.

"We having another practice tonight?" Drew yelled from the merry-go-round he was currently spinning on.

"Yeah, probably!" I yelled to him. He did the devil horns with his hand as he continued to spin around.

"Wee," Jake and I said as we swung in sync on the swing. I lightly shoved him.

"This is my turf, swing your own way," I said, laughing. He laughed, too, and flipped me off. Mike gt off his swing to come over and kiss me. I kissed back for a moment, a long moment before I pulled back.

"I'm trying to swing, here!" I said teasingly. He smiled and shook his head, going back to his swing.

"You wanna head back to my place?" Dave asked.

"Yeah, we can practice there," I said. I texted my parents o let hem know I was practicing at Dave's before we all left for his house.

"Drew, love me!" Heather whined, throwing herself playfully onto Drew. We were in Dave's basement, setting up to practice.
