Sixteen-

I woke up to my alarm, as usual, and, as usual, slammed my fist on it ad then groaned loudly.

"Fuck this life," I mumbled before pulling myself out of bed and to the bathroom.

After I showered, I got dressed in a KISS shirt with black skinny jeans and my converse. I went back I to the bathroom and did my hair and eyeliner, switching out my lip rings for new ones but left my nose ring, then carefully pulled on a beanie and got up my brothers. I grabbed my book bag and headed downstairs, and ate two slices of pizza along with my bothers before we got into my car and Arte diving off for school.

"So I heard you got a new band member," Max said. I nodded.

"Yep. We did, and he's awesome," I said.

"What's his name?" David asked.

"Jake Carter," I said. They nodded and that's when I pulled into their school.

"Love you guys," I said as they for out and waved once before I drove away, driving myself to school.

I parked near the side of the school and got out, walking in through the side and meeting up with Jake and Dennis.

"Hey asswipes," I waved. They laughed and Dennis looked down at me, since he was a whole lot taller.

"So, I was planning on ditching today," Jake said, sounding disappointed.

"Your mom would have killed you," Dennis laughed. Jake shrugged.

"Eh. At least I would have gotten to escape this hell," he said.

"I agree whole heartedly," I said. Drew and Dave found us, along with Heather.

"Where's Mike?" Heather asked.

"I don't even know anymore," I sighed. It was making me just the smallest bit depressed, honestly.

I wondered what he did when he wants with me, or hen he just stopped talking to me altogether because he had to 'do something for his mom'. I mean, I had nothing against it its just, I was curious to what it was he was doing. He was always dodged my questions. Dave shuffled his feet but didn't say anything, so we all just sat outside.

Dave's P.O.V.

So a few minutes before school, I found Mike. Behind the school, making out with a girl I've her seen before. I yanked him away and looked at him, outraged.

"What the actual fucking hell?!" I said, really upset. Mike raised hishands in defense.

"I swear, its not what you think!" he said. The chick looked at Mike.

"Wants going on, Mikey?" she asked. I narrowed my eyes at her.

"He already has a girlfriend," I spat. She rolled her eyes.

"Duh. I know this. He was planning to break up with her, anyway," she said.

"Butt out, you whore," I hissed. I was deeply upset. Jay was like my sister, and if his ass hole couldn't respect her, he didn't deserve her.

"Don't listen to her, the bitch's crazy," Mike muttered so the chick couldn't hear.

"Shut your worthless mouth I don't want to hear your shit," I hissed. I pinned him against the wall.

"Hey man, chill! I won't do it again, I swear!" he said, sounding panicked. I sighed and let go. I honestly didn't know what to do right now.

"You better as hell fucking not," I hissed. Mike nodded, said something to the chick and scampered off. I met up with Drew and found Heather, then we found Dennis, Jake, and Jay. I didn't tell anyone else about the incident, keeping it to myself.

Jay's P.O.V.

I was sitting in first period, tapping my pen on the edge of my leg. I wanted so badly to leave that class right then. Someone threw an eraser at me and I looked over to see Johnathan. Great....

"Hey emo freak. Where'd you get the bruise?" he sneered. I ignored him as best as I could.

"You can't ignore me that easily, freak show," he spat. I sighed heavily and fixed my beanie, biting down on one lip ring and continued to ignore the asshole sitting next to me.

Thankfully, the bell rang at that time and I flew out of that class and to my next one, texting the guys while I walked to the class.

Band practice tonight. My place, at six

Dave: OK got it

Drew: sounds good

Jake: can't wait

I smiled to myself and walked into the class. I thought about inviting Dennis and Heather to watch us practice, but I was at least nighty five percent sure Dave would drag them along.

The rest of the day was uneventful, thankfully. I finally ran into Mike, who looked at me almost scared at first, before pulling me into a quick kiss and leaving for his class. What the hell was that? I shrugged it off.

"Get in losers, we're going shopping," I said to Heather and Dennis who wanted to go to Hot Topic with me. I was originally going to get my mom some new earrings, but they wanted me to take them, as well.

"Yay!" Heather said, getting to the front seat with me and Dennis got into the back.

"Heather, you suck!" Dennis whined.

"Hehe I get the front with Heather," I mocked like a child. Dennis pouted.

We got to the mall and Heather ran, I mean she literally ran, for Hot Topic. Dennis and I laughed at her and his stayed back to walk with me.

"So my our band manager is coming back this week," I told Dennis. He smiled down at me.

"Really? That's awesome," he said. I nodded.

"I'm excited. He's setting up a show for us," I said. Dennis high fived me.

"Can't wait," he said.

After the Hot Topic trip, in which I got my mom a pair of earrings, my dad a Shinedown shirt, and my brothers each a Misfits pin-on button, I dropped the stuff off at my house and then went down into the basement. Drew, Dave and Jake were already setting up and Dennis and Heather claimed the couch. I grabbed my guitar set up my mic, and we began practice.

We practiced for about an hour before they all went home. I sat in the living room, eating dinner with my family.

"That Jake guy, the one who just joined your band? I like him," my dad said, smiling. I chuckled.

"I figured you would," I said.

"I do, too," my mom smiled.

"You know we do!" Max said, speaking for both himself and David. I pushed my bangs out of my eye.

"That's awesome you guys," I yawned.

"You sound tired, go get some sleep," my mom said. I nodded and put my plate in the kitchen and then fed my dogs.

"You two, are the cutest things ever," I laugh. I scratched behind both their ears before I went up to my room and put my earphones in and turned my music up.

I played Black Veil Brides, Legacy, as loud as it would go before I ended up falling asleep and pulling my earphones out.
