Jack walked into the hospital and got on the elevator. It took about 10 minutes to get on the floor where Rose was staying, which was the 4th floor. Once Jack reached floor 4 he got off and made his way into her room. Rose had been sitting up in the hospital bed with Leo in her arms. She was talking to him and Leo was smiling at her. Jack smiled to himself. Rose hadn't noticed him walk in yet, so she continued to focus all her attention on Leo. Jack walked further into the room and sat down in a chair next to the bed. He smiled. Rose looked up and smiled at him. "Would you like to hold him? We missed you." Rose said. Jack smiled and reached his arms out. He loved to hold Leo. He began rubbing the top of Leo's head which was sending Leo off to sleep. Rose smiled. It was already 7 at night. Jack couldn't believe how long he had been gone. Even with literally rushing around and all. After Leo was fully asleep, Jack stood up and walked over to the crib to set him down. He kissed the top of Leo's head and set him down. He put the blankets over him and smiled. Then he walked back over to the chair, moving it directly next to Rose who was still sitting in the bed. He grabbed her by her hand and pecked the top of it. "So, how was your day my love?" Jack asked. Rose watched him kiss her hand and smiled to herself. It was peaceful after this morning. That was scary, but he didn't come back which is good. Leo and I listened to music and the nurses kept me company after I awoke from my nap." Rose said as she let out a yawn. Jack smirked. "I'm sorry I was out for so long, we ran a few errands and got caught up I guess" Jack said sympathetically. "It's okay, darling. It really is. But, I do have a question." Rose innocently asked. Jack gave a slightly worrisome and concerned look. Oh boy, what have I done now? He thought to himself. She saw this look and chuckled to herself. "What did Carlos bring this morning? It was over on the bed, but I told the nurse to hang it in my hospital closet." Rose admitted. Jack let out a sigh in relief and then grew concerned again thinking she saw the dress. "Oh, well, if you don't know now, you'll find out in due time my love." He said in a tome that begged for her not to know. She smiled and laid her head back, closing her eyes. He wasn't sure what was going through her mind right now.

Rose must have been tired because after she laid her head back, she fell asleep in only a few seconds. Jack smiled to himself and released hold from her hand and covered her with the blankets. He made his way over to the window sill, which was wide enough to allow him to sit and extend his legs across it with his back against the wall. About an hour passed by since he got back, making it 8 o clock now. The sky was getting darker and the stars were becoming more visible. Jack looked out of the window and up at the stars. He didn't like it, but his mind flashed back to when he and Rose were stuck in the middle of the ocean. Oddly, he smiled. He was thinking about how far they've come since that night. He had been silently thanking God for keeping himself and Rose alive and for allowing them to be together. He was at peace with his heart and mind, and all he could do is smile. He was purely happy in that moment. His thoughts never stopped bombarding his head and he soon also fell asleep sitting up against the window sill.

The next morning, the sun seemed to shine brighter than normal. It shone right onto Jack's face which woke him up. The time was 8 in the morning. Jack opened his eyes and squinted due to the bright sun. He stood up and stretched out. "I shouldn't have fell asleep on the window sill" he said to himself while laughing. Rose and Leo had still been sleeping so Jack had an idea. He snuck quietly through the room and out of the door. He was going to go get breakfast for his soon to be wife. He got down to the cafeteria and placed his order. "Two pancake orders with orange juice please." He told the cook. The cook smiled and immediately began preparing Jack's order. The food was done withing the next half hour and he brought it back up to Rose. She had still been asleep, so he figured he'd wake her up to eat before the baby did. He set the hospital table up with Rose's breakfast and lightly tapped her to wake her up. Rose was a light sleeper so it didn't take much to wake her up. She moved around and slowly blinked her eyes while extending her arms and legs to stretch out. A smile crept upon her tired face. "Goodmorning my beautiful love" Jack softly said. Her smile grew slightly bigger, and she began blushing, "Goodmorning darling" Rose replied. "I've brought you breakfast. You can eat and go back to sleep for a bit before they let you out if you'd like." Jack suggested. Rose was getting sent home today, or so she thought. Jack had bigger plans though. And it was already being put together as they spoke. Rose began sitting up and grabbed a plastic fork and knife. The pancakes were inside a styrofoam box but Jack removed them and put them on a plate. There were two pancakes and he stacked them similar to a venn diagram on one side and put blue berries and strawberries on the other side. He filled a small cup of syrup for her and put powdered sugar in a bowl. He also poured the orange juice in a cup with 3 ice cubes. He took the flower vase originally from a table in the room and put it on the hospital table to look even more pretty. Rose was pleased with the way everything looked but she was too hungry to stop and admire. She quickly ate the pancakes and fruit as though someone was going to steal it. Her and Jack shared a laugh about this. Once they finished, Leo awoke. "Bring me my baby, he's hungry too!" Rose playfully demanded. Jack chuckled and went to the crib to grab Leo. "Goodmornin' buddy. You hungry? Mommy is gonna feed you now!" Jack comforted his newborn son. He walked Leo back over to Rose and handed him to her. She began breast feeding him. This took anywhere from a halfhour to an hour depending on Leo. Today, it only took a half hour. By the time they were finished eating and tending to Leo, the time was 10:00 A.M. A nurse made her way into the room. She knocked on the door before she fully entered the room. "Goodmornin' you three. I just wanted to let you know that Leo did wake up around 3 A.M. but one of the nurses on staff used the milk you pumped to feed him so you two could get some rest. I also wanted to let you know that you can leave once you fill out these papers." The nurse smiled while handing Jack some paper work. Jack smiled back and took the papers. He filled them out and then took Leo from Rose so she could also fill out her part. Once they finished they gavethe paper work back to the nurse. "You're all set. Congratulations on this beautiful baby boy!" The nurse said while she exited the room. Another nurse entered after that one left and brought a wheel chair. "Before we go, Rose-" Jack paused. He set Leo down in his crib and grabbed the dress from the hospital closet. "Put this on." He continued with a smile. Rose carefully got up from the hospital bed. She grabbed the dress and made her way into the bathroom. She quickly changed and came out of the bathroom. She had a look on her face that told she knew what Jack was up to, but she still questioned it. The nurse smiled "It's hospital policy that we wheel you to the car and then you can walk around once you leave here." The nurse added. Jack and Rose both made their way out the door to a black car waiting right outside. Carlos was driving...
