Recap;
Jack was asleep. She walked over to him and kissed his cheek. "I love you. Be strong. Come home to us, please." She begged as a tear rolled down her cheek. She finished up and began walking out. On her way out she passed by Carlos's room who was still lying there deceased with a sheet over him. His parents sitting there, filling out papers and talking to all kinds of people. A frown formed on her face. "Goodbye, Carlos. I will miss you." She softly whispered and slowly walked out. . .~10 Years Later~
Rose had just finished making dinner for her family. Leo was now 10 years old and she brought two more beautiful babies into the world as well. A girl and another little boy. They went by the names of Alison and Charles. Charles was seven and Alison was only five, making her the baby of the 3. The couple struck rich when they found the diamond and sold it. They were in a rough spot with hospital bills and a new born baby ten years ago. Finding the diamond was the best thing that happened for them financially. They moved into a large, isolated 4 bedroom mansion. Jack became a famous artist working from home and Rose has gone to become a very famous actress. However, their work life never stops them from spending quality family time. "Kids? Dinner is ready. Go get your father and come sit down!" Rose called out to her three children. She couldn't be more happy with her life. Cal hadn't showed up until 5 years after the shooting. He stuck around for about 2 years continuously harassing them. One day it just stopped and they haven't seen or heard from him since.
Leo, Alison and Charles all rushed down to the table. Jack slowly followed after. "Hello, sweetheart!" He called out to Rose. Rose smiled. The family all sat down together for dinner. "So my love, how has painting been going?" She asked her husband. "It's been going great sweetheart, how has acting been going?" He questioned her. "Amazing, hon." She replied. "Kids? How are your studies?" She asked her kids. "Good momma! I am getting all good grades!" Charles rushed to answer first. "They are going great for me too, mom. I am making a lot of friends at school too!" Leo replied. "Make sure you stay focused though, Leo." Jack reminded him. "And how about you, baby girl?" Rose asked her daughter, Alison. "I read a book all by myself today!" She excitedly said in her sweet and innocent child voice. Jack and Rose looked at eachother in this proud parent moment. With love in their eyes, they smiled. "That's amazing, sweetie. Good job!" They both said to her. They all finished up their dinner and began cleaning up the mess. "Momma, can we swim?" The kids all asked. "Of course, make sure you apply sunscreen though. You remember the last time you guys went out there and got burned pretty bad." She told them. They all smiled and nodded and rushed to change and apply their sunscreen.
Once they finished they all rushed outside. Rose followed them and eventually Jack did too. Rose and Jack sat at a nearby outdoor table and chairs to keep an eye on their children. Jack reached his hand out for Rose. "Look at how precious they are, Jack." Rose started. She was very emotional over her children. Especially because Jack was their father. "I know, honey. They are great kids." Jack agreed. They shared a smile. "So, I think we should do a family game night tonight." Rose suggested. "Ooh, that sounds like fun!" Jack agreed.
Hours passed by and it started getting dark outside. The kids had gotten out of the pool and went inside to dry off. Rose and Jack had followed inside and went into the living room. They picked from a few different board games to play with their children. That night they went through plenty of different games rather than just one. They had a lot of fun and enjoyed the family time together. Soon it got late and it was time for the kids to get ready for bed. Once they were settled in and sleeping, Jack and Rose had finally went to bed as well.
Jack had fallen fast asleep, but Rose had stayed up with her thoughts. She couldn't help herself but to imagine her life in 10, 20, 30, 40, even 50 years. She thought about Leo going off to college, Alison and Charles going to highschool, and her and Jack growing old together. She wondered how she would've been now if she lost Jack that night on Titanic. She thought about how she could've been stuck with Cal if she hadn't met Jack. She pondered over everything. It was as if her entire life just began flashing before her very own eyes. It took her a while, but eventually she closed her eyes and fell asleep. . .A/N; Hey guys, I know I'm very late! I also know that this chapter wasn't the best. However I wanted to use this chapter to go over all the things that happened within 10 years. I'm going to be honest, I'm running out of ideas for this book so I am going to be ending it, however, it won't be a boring ending. I promise you that!
Go check out some of my newer work, 'Teacher Crush'. If you like Michael Jackson, or romance, or even drama, this is a book you will enjoy. Thank you!! -B_R_I_A♡
