Here Comes The Bride (Part 3/3)

The nurse smiled while handing Jack some paper work. Jack smiled back and took the papers. He filled them out and then took Leo from Rose so she could also fill out her part. Once they finished they gavethe paper work back to the nurse. "You're all set. Congratulations on this beautiful baby boy!" The nurse said while she exited the room. Another nurse entered after that one left and brought a wheel chair. "Before we go, Rose-" Jack paused. He set Leo down in his crib and grabbed the dress from the hospital closet. "Put this on." He continued with a smile. Rose carefully got up from the hospital bed. She grabbed the dress and made her way into the bathroom. She quickly changed and came out of the bathroom. She had a look on her face that told she knew what Jack was up to, but she still questioned it. The nurse smiled "It's hospital policy that we wheel you to the car and then you can walk around once you leave here." The nurse added. Jack and Rose both made their way out the door to a black car waiting right outside. Carlos was driving...

       When they arrived to the black car, Jack opened the door for Rose. He slightly lifted up the bottom of the wedding dress as Rose made her way into the car. Once she was in, Jack put the carseat in the car. He then put Leo into the car seat and strapped him in. He went to the passenger side of the car, and sat in the front seat. Jack had already been wearing his tux. Rose had an idea of what was happening now. "Hey, Carlos!" Rose said in excitement. "Good morning Rose, you're rather glee this morning." He responded. "Well, my son is healthy, the sun is shining bright, and the air seems fresher than ever today." Rose told him. Jack and Carlos smiled at this comment. Carlos pulled off in the car and made his way to Central Park. Rose had been staring at a sleeping Leo. Her smile never faded. It took about 15 minutes to get the Central Park by car from the hospital. Jack reached his hand in the back seat and opened it, signaling for Rose to grab it. Rose looked at his hand, smiled, and grabbed it. "So, where are we going?" Rose softly questioned. "It's a surprise, love." Jack responded. Rose smiled.
       They had been driving for about 10 minutes now. They were driving alongside the outside of central park. They just had to find a place to park that was convenient towards their event. After scoping for about 5 minutes, Carlos found the perfect spot. Jack got out of the car first. He grabbed Leo from the car seat. Rose and Carlos exited the car next. "Sweetie, stay with Carlos, okay?" Jack told Rose as he kissed her forehead and made his way over to Fabrizio and Helga. Once Jack arrived there, he handed Leo to Helga and stood by a priest.
       Carlos gave Rose his elbow to walk over to Jack now. Carlos would be giving Rose away. A loud whistle was heard nearby. This was coming from Jack, signaling Rose and Carlos to walk over now. Once they arrived to the event, rose petals had been spread along the ground. Wedding music could be heard softly playing. Carlos began walking Rose down the aisle. Rose had a smile that stretched from ear to ear. Jack had also had this same smile. Rose could have sworn she saw a tear leave Jack's eye. She chuckled a bit and thought to herself how adorable that was.
Carlos and Rose were now standing before Jack. Carlos released Rose from his arm and went to stand beside Jack. Joining Carlos on Jack's side representing groomsmen was Fabrizio. On Rose's side, representing bridesmaids was Helga and her friend Sarah who was also Carlos's sister. In the crowd sat Carlos's parents, Fabrizio's mother, Helga's family including her parents and two younger siblings, and Sarah's parents as well. It was a small wedding, but the two didn't mind whether it was full or empty, they were just happy to have eachother. The priest began talking in order to wed the two. After the priest had spoken, the couple shared their vows. Jack had began first, "I promise to take care of you in sickness, and in health. For better or worse, rich or poor. I promise to give you my life to share. My love and my care. I'm yours forever and a day..." he continued on. Rose was smiling and blushing. After Jack had finished, Rose had wiped a tear from her eye and began her vows. "I promise to love you with all of my heart, to give you my life. In sickness and in health, for rich or for poor, better or for worse. I promise I'll always be yours..." she continued. Once Rose finished up, the priest began speaking again. "Do you, Jack Dawson, take Rose, to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked Jack. With a large smile upon his face, he gleefully responded, "I do!". "And do you, Rose, take Jack to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked Rose. Without hesitation, and rather quickly, Rose also responded with a large smile, "I do!". "Then without further ado, you may now kiss the bride." The priest said to Jack. Jack pulled Rose close to him and kissed her. After kissing the two stood side by side as the crowd applauded. The two began to walk back down the aisle. Following them first was Carlos and Sarah, then Fabrizio and Helga.
Once they reached the end of the aisle, the feeling of happiness quickly turned to anger and fright. "Uh, Jack?" Rose softly whispered as she stared at a man that stood before them holding a gun. That man was Cal. He got information of the couples whereabouts from a nurse. "Cal, don't do anything you might regret." Jack said. "Please" he added. Cal had an evil smile on his face. He slowly lifted the gun and pointed it at Jack. He had his finger on the trigger. "Cal, shooting him isn't going to bring me back to you. It's not going to do anything. Just leave." Rose demanded. The gun made a noise just before it was going to shoot. Jack quickly jumped onto Rose just as the gun went off. A puddle of blood had begun forming. Rose's dress had been ruined. Everyone stood in shock as Cal quickly ran away....
