So I thought

"I have seen you somewhere. What's your name?" The lady in white floral saree asked me.

"Manya Vallabhaneni," I whispered, tasting how it sounds. It's a surprise that even after a month since my marriage, I am still not used to bring called Mrs.Vallabhaneni.

"Oh! Adrith Vallabhaneni's wife right?"
I nodded.

"I did not expect anything less from his wife. These arrangements are too good. I am Akula Radhika by the way."

Akula's are into the producing movies.  I know this because of the hours of training my sister-in-law, Anna gave me. "You should be knowing about all the people, so that you don't look clueless," she said before drilling me.

"Nice meeting you Radhika Gaaru. Congratulations on previous movie, it has got some good reviews."

"And collections too," she whispered and winked.

I let out a chuckle and said, "That is good. So when is the next movie  coming?"

"I don't know, they were talking about audio release, in a month or so. We have to see how long the post production takes."
I nodded.

We talked for a little while, and I think I have just made a rich friend. Phew! What a day. It's the first day of Nithin and Darshini's marriage. The rituals have started, and my boss is MIA because her fiance is in town and she is on a 'holiday' with him, while I  am working my ass off for EXQUISITE. Atleast Darshini has appreciated my effort. So far, everything looked 'EXQUISITE', let's see how it goes further. And I am making my own name, so it's all good.

It was eleven by the time, we wrapped up. I have divided the team that was alloted to me, into two.  One to remove the decorations once the party is over, the other to decorate for the next day. Somehow I feel that my boss has alloted me a resilient team. They just don't get along with each other. One fourth of my work goes in me trying to solve their issues. God! I miss Swetcha so much. It was her work. But I guess I have learnt a trick or two, thanks bestie.

Driving back home, I remembered past few days. It's been hectic, but I am learning to draw a line between my personal and professional life. No matter how busy I am, I make sure that I spend my lunch with my daughter. Her school gets over at one, and I have my lunch break from one to two. So the chauffeur picks her from school and drops of in the office, where we have dinner and then drop her at home. Dev's idea to let us spend time with each other. Dev drops and picks me up from office unless I get late or I have an event. Rakesh Anna, my chauffer is at my service, otherwise.
Oh! Dev bought me a new car, for me, Volkswagen Polo gt; not that I needed something so costly. Life was falling into place, finally.

By the time I reached home it was midnight. My husband opened the door, after I called him. Poor thing he looked tired. He always waited for me. As soon as he saw me, he smiled and opened his arms. I hugged him, while he embraced me. Did I saw life was falling into place? No, this, on here is my life, my serenity.
We talked about our days. He told me about the 'PROODOS' project he was working on. So far, he has met with the doctors, female social workers, the staff themselves. They have done the research in the regard of the problems, now they are all set to get the solutions and reformations which are economical. I helped him with whatever I can, like paper work. I am bad at finances but, the rest I guess I could do. That night, he kissed me good night. His lips lingered on my skin for a while, like previous day, like every day since the farm house. He married me because of his responsibilities, but today I feel that our relationship is grown past the responsibility. May be little admiration? Or little love? One can hope.

Within a week the wedding was over, and I was pushed over to another project, because the fiance is still in the town. I had to attend all her meetings, I had to attend all the customers, I have to check all the finances, which I hate by the way. End of the day, my boss strolls in the most informal clothing and asks me to summarise the day, she checks everything and then, Puff! Vanishes till next twenty-four hours. Adding on to all of that, I have to be in the venue to overlook the event. So, basically my entire work is being carried around the car. How did she manage before me? Is she the only that has family in the world or what? Oh! How I am waiting for the next eleven months to get over! I miss my family time.
