the attic was almost done, only a few more boxes and articles and the final cleaning. yuna went upstairs and started sweeping the floor.
she noticed kihyun was focused on fixing what seemed to be a rusty nail that was popping out of the window dangerously.
stopping on her tracks, she took a second to admire how delicately he worked his hands, replacing the nail with a brand new one. the dim light filtered through the glass of the window, lightening half of his side profile. his milky skin shinning with small drops of sweat, that covered delicately his perfect skin, it all made perfect harmony with his long black hair that even though it was tousled at this point, still provided him with that handsome vibe he constantly carried with him. he seemed really focused on the easy task, his tongue softly sticking out as his green eyes stared with intensity to the small piece between his hands.
it was a new view to her. kibum never had this mannerism when he was focused on something. either way she found it charming.
"there. it's done." he said, standing and cleaning his hands. his muscles marked through the soft thin fabric of the tshirt he was wearing, making yuna looking away.
even his body contexture was different from kibum. not that he was not in shape, he was alright. but kihyun seemed to be in much more shape, with even abs and biceps, not excesive but just the right amount.
yuna cleared her throat. "and i am done sweeping." he looked at the floor and smiled in approval. "we should take these downstairs and just close this place." he said, collecting the tools and grabbing two boxes. she did the same, grabbing the only remaining one.
the shed was starting to get crowded since they were organizing all the boxes there and the rest of the furniture.
"so what's next?" he asked turning to look at her, painting.
"i think it's enough for today?" they had been carrying boxes and going upstairs several times. in fact, she was actually tired.
"oh... sure." he said nodding, removing the working gloves. "let's call it a day." he said smiling, pressing his lips together. he closed the shed and both walked back to the house.
"so is that your motorcycle?"
"ah you saw it... yes, i have since 3 years now." he nodded walking into the kitchen, opening the fridge and sighing.
"do you like them?"
"very much. they make me feel free to go anywhere."
yuna leaned on the breakfast bar. "a car can do that too."
kihyun chuckled as he closed the fridged and leaned on its door, arms crossed on his chest. "yet is not the same."
yuna tilted her head confused about his statement. a car and a motorcycle were both means of transportation that would take you anywhere.
"how come?" she asked, curiously. kihyun only shrugged. "motorcycles improve the experience, you feel it all, right in your face."
she narrowed her eyes, trying to find some sense into that. "like the wind for example? you can't feel it the same if you're going inside a car, or the sun?-
"or the rain? so it gets you damped."
kihyun stopped talking when she mentioned the rain and finally chuckled, shaking his head. "now i see why you two were engaged." he muttered, walking towards the living room. yuna followed him.
