"good morning." his sweet voice coming from the kitchen, echoed inside the living room.
her cheeks turned warm as she held onto the paws of her sweater. he walked out of the kitchen, holding a mug with what seemed to be just tea. his wide smile, his eyes turning into rainbows welcomed her, making her insides twist.
"good morning." she answered.
his eyes remained on hers as they both chuckled at the same time. it was awkward but not at the same time.
it felt right and there was this strange complicity between then that grew each passing second. "tea?" he asked.
yuna just nodded as she followed him inside the kitchen. she noticed his delicate hands holding the pot as he poured the greenish-liquid inside the mug. just then, she remembered the previous episode, last night.
"are you okay? how is your wound?" she asked once he placed the cup of tea in front of her. "oh - he said, lifting his tshirt without any problem. yuna tried to look away but it was difficult.
"i think it's better?" he tilted his head, staring at it. yuna chuckled nervously. "yeah... it looks... good." she cursed herself mentally since she couldn't avoid saying that while she looked at his abs instead. she just hoped kihyun wouldn't notice.
"alright. thanks." he said winking.
her cheeks turned warm as she buried her head on the mug, trying to avoid his eyes. he smiled widely and shrugged. "so what are we doing today?"
she was confused over his behavior. even if she always caught him looking with mischievous eyes, he wouldn't talk about the kiss anymore.
now she didn't know if she was disappointed or if she was missing it, but she felt something was off. he was only smirking at her as if he knew things she didn't. as if he knew she had enjoyed it.
"are you sure you can work like this? maybe we should rest for a few days-
"aniyo. we have lots of things to do." he said walking around. yuna followed him with her eyes.
"what do you say about your room?" he asked tilting his head.
yuna swallowed hard as she thought about it. it made sense. the kitchen had to be the last place since they needed to eat and prepare things there. and both, living room and attic were done already. there was only the 2 bedrooms that were left. the room where she was sleeping in which was kihyun's room and his room.
but shaking her thoughts away, she finally nodded. going to his room across the hallway was the least thing she wanted to do.
"alright. i'll get the boxes and bags, i'll meet you there." he said nodding and walking out of the house, towards the shed.
yuna returned to her room as she looked around, a heavy deep sigh escaping her lips. she glanced around as she noticed a few of her things were scattered.
she approached them and started organizing them when she noticed the sketchbook under her bed. she just remembered she had left it there the other day.
she opened it and it landed on a random scene, it was another sketch, about a window. it was a scenario, a similar one. one she had seen before.
yuna walked towards her door and stayed there as she looked at his room at the other side of the hallway. the door was open, it always was.
