9 months later•

the mug full of coffee rested on the breakfast table, next to a plate with eggs and toast. the lighting filtering through the living room's windows provided the area with a beautiful dim light.

the smell of coffee and eggs was present around the house as noises of footsteps around the apartment were clearly audible.

"you're coffee is getting cold." a sweet voice came from the kitchen.

yuna rushed through the hallway and finally flashed a smile. she walked towards the breakfast table and glanced at the breakfast that had been set for her. "smells amazing." she said as kihyun approached her to place a sweet kiss on her forehead.

"great. eat it because we'll be late." he said cleaning the kitchen. he was wearing a black suit and his black hair was perfectly combed.

"arasseo..." she said rolling her eyes at his bossy demands.

he sat in front of her as he drank his coffee, staring intensely and lovingly at her, to the point where yuna felt slightly shy and flustered.

"yah... why are you looking at me like that?" she asked pouting. kihyun couldn't help but laugh.

"because i want and i can." he said shrugging, seductively taking a sip from his mug of coffee. yuna giggled as she finished the breakfast.

it was delicious as usual and it was an agreement they've came to. he cooks and cleans the kitchen and bathrooms and she does the rest of the stuff which really wasn't that much.

once they finished there, they made their way downstairs and towards the car.

the day was bright and the weater was nice yet slightly chill. that's why yuna chose to wear a white turtle neck and a light gray pencil skirt under her black long coat.

"we should buy some flowers." yuna said pointing at a small flower shop that was across the street in the distance. kihyun nodded and pulled over.

as they walked hand in hand inside the store, they picked a beautiful bouquette of orchids. yuna stared at them with a tender smile on her face as kihyun paid for them.

the trip towards the cemetery wasn't that long as usual. for a curious reason that day it went faster than ever. maybe was because both yuna and kihyun were excited to visit or maybe because just everything seemed brighter and much better those days.

"the flowers we brought last time are already dead." kihyun said taking them into a plastic bag they brought with them. yuna placed the new and fresh flowers inside the small pot and caressed the glassy box. she finally took a step back and hugged kihyun's arms.

they remained silent for a minute since they didn't know how to start or what to say. kihyun felt his chest tightening but yuna soon helped him out.

"i can't believe today is your one year anniversary... - she started as both of their moods suddenly changed. they've done this plenty times, the previous months, and it would always work out in the same way. they'd be crying and sad.

but given the situation and the news they were bringing that day, they definitely thought that the situation would be different, but it wasn't.

facing kibum's ashes would always be a horrible view and would involve sad feelings to the both of them.
