please... don't leave me alone

the words echoed inside his mind for the next few hours.

yuna had insisted on them to sleep together, in the same room and bed, where she could keep an eye and a hand on him.

"is this really necessary?" kihyun asked walking inside the room. he had changed into pajama shorts and a plain white tshirt. yuna just nodded.

"i'd feel more calm this way, please." she said caressing his side of the bed. kihyun sighed and finally walked towards her, sitting on his side.

he seemed tired and obviously sad. yuna didn't know if the idea of taking his own live was still present on his mind. but it worried her, especially since she had to try to convince him for hours.

she approached him on the bed and rested her head on his chest. a few seconds later she felt his hand on her back, drawing small circles. "are you alright?"

she heard his lips letting out a sigh. "please don't do that."

"what?" she asked, raising her head to meet his eyes. he seemed slightly annoyed. "checking on me every 5 minutes."

yuna looked down ashamed. "sorry. but you can't blame me." she shrugged.

kihyun knew she was right. it mustn't be easy when someone reveals such thing to you.

"do you want to talk about it?" he heard yuna's soft voice. "what difference would it make?"

she shrugged again. "i don't know... i just don't want you to feel like you can't tell me things... if you want to talk about something just know that i am here... i care about you."

at that point kihyun knew she genuinely cared for him, and even if he couldn't believe his luck, he was beyong grateful to her.

"there's another reason why i came." he finally admitted. he felt yuna tensing between his arms. "really?"

he just nodded. "i knew that if kibum chose this secluded place was because he came to do what he did... it's just... when i realized it, it was too late."

yuna noticed his right hand resting on top of hers. she felt the warmth leaving his body and entering hers, it was a comforting feeling she hadn't feel in a while.

"i knew that... if he looked for me that day was because he wanted to apologize but i couldn't even think about looking him in the eye... he had taken the most precious thing from me."

yuna remained silent, listening to the whole thing. "of course it was an accident and i knew it but... i was still hurt about it."

"then why did you come here?"

he glanced at her with sad eyes. "i knew that if he had something to tell me that day when i didn't let him, the answers would be here."

yuna frowned in confusion. "like... did he leave something to you... here?" she asked. he nodded.
