(A/N. A rewrite. I wanted to write more but...I don't do sin)
"Red!" Blue screeched, slamming his bike on the ground and running over to his friend.
"Red? Are you okay?" Blue asked, kneeling down to get a good look at whatever injury Red had acquired.
Red forced a smile, "Yeah I'm okay, Blue!" He said. Red glanced at the bike he fell from.
"I told my mom I wasn't ready to take my training wheels off..." The young boy grumbled.
"Should I get my Gramps?" Blue asked worriedly.
Red stood up, trying to reassure Blue that he was fine, "No I'm okay!"
"You're bleeding!" Blue screeched, pointing to Red's leg.
Red looked down to find a long cut down his leg, dripping blood. He was surprised he didn't feel it.
Blue put his hands on Red's shoulders and pushed him into sitting on the ground, "I'll go get my Gramps! Don't move!"
As he watched Blue run back to his grandfather's laboratory, Red couldn't help but think about how concerned Blue looked...

"Red! Come down from his god damn mountain!" Blue yelled against the harsh wind, his scarf thrashing about.
Red, seemingly unbothered by the cold, turned his back to Blue. That made Blue incredibly angry.
"You stupid idiot!" He hissed, earning a look over the shoulder from Red, "You're gonna freeze to death up here!"
Red shrugged.
Dread clawed at Blue's soul. What if Red died up here? What if he never saw him again? Blue didn't want to think about it.
"Please Red," Blue said, calmly this time, "I miss you...come home."
Red fully turned his body to Blue, his face flooded with shock.
New warmth migrated to Blue's cheeks and ears as Red approached him. Fixing Blue's scarf, Red leaned in and-
Blue awoke with a start. He put his hand to his chest to find his heart beating rapidly.
Gears turned in Blue's brain as he realized what this dream could mean.
"No...No!" He screamed, "I can't be...No! This isn't right!"
Red flooded Blue's thoughts- his smile, his laugh, the voice he only used when interacting with Blue. Blue thought about the way Red's eyes lit up when he and Blue spoke about Pokémon. The way he scoffed and rolled his eyes at Blue's arrogance. The way when he signed Blue's name, he spelt it out instead of using the sign for "blue". As if Blue's name was something special...
Heat rose to Blue's face and he smiled at his thoughts, but soon realized what he was doing and shook the thoughts away.
Blue laid back down in his bed and attempted to fall back asleep. He was very unsuccessful, since it's very difficult to fall asleep when a heart is beating a million miles a minute.

Blue sat on a bench outside the Pokémon Center, his gaze focused on the sky.
Blue felt a tap on his shoulder. He tore his gaze away from the clear blue sky to find his childhood friend, and rival, smiling at him. He was smiling a smile that made Blue's ears warm.
"Hey." Blue said coldly, taking his eyes off of Red.
Not finding anything particularly unusual with Blue's tone, Red took a seat next to him. Blue scooted away in response.
