Doyoung was eager for his lecture to end, he had a family dinner tonight and he couldn't afford to be late, no matter how much he hated to gather.
The lecturer was enjoying his time dragging the class as he kept storytelling instead of actually focusing on the syllabus in his slides. He contemplated whether it was a good decision or not to just walk out.
Besides, it was only history, there wasn't much for him to read anyway. Eventually, he walked out of the class 10 minutes before it ended. Luckily, it was dark so the old man in front barely notice him leaving.
While he exited the class, he purposely went through the long way. He decided to roam around the finance building next to his side, in hopes he would catch Jaehee around.
He found himself looking for her, and sometimes waiting for her texts as well. It was a childish feeling, but it was enough to bother him. Doyoung couldn't understand why he was so concerned when he barely ever cared about others than himself before.
As he was making his way towards the stairs to the cafeteria, he found Jaehee rushing up the stairs. A smile lit his face in a stretched form as he wanted to approach her.
However, the sight of another guy following after her made him stop. He recognised the guy, he was all over the magazine. One of the sons of the Lee Holdings who owned the largest airline across the country and recently Taeyong just launched a brand of his own, in collaboration with Prada.
Doyoung had no idea how the two knew each other, he watched as the guy touched her nose, linked his arm around her before ruffling her hair and soon the two disappeared into the lecture hall.
There was an unsettling feeling bugging in the deepest part of his chest, he didn't know what it was but he felt it burn and spread throughout his body.
He didn't know why he didn't just walk up to her and say hi, he had no idea why he chose to spy from afar. Why was he so bothered with the people around her life, or why did he wanted to know more about her than he already did?
"Hey, I didn't know you had class today?"
A voice broke his train of thoughts. Kun looked at him, waiting for an answer. "Yeah they pushed it early because the lecturer is going to Europe next week." He replied with a sigh.
Kun followed his eyes that was looking at the lecture hall across, wondering which friends did they ever have in that class.

Thankfully, dinner went by pretty normal other than the fact his mother brought up about the whole marriage thing. He knew it was coming one way or another.
Doyoung never understood his mother anyway, she has this obsession of staying as the most influential in her group but she was also trying so hard to be a good mother.
She made her brother marry a woman of her choice, yet here they gather for a family dinner with the exclusion of his brother's wife. She claimed the dinner to be only among them.
He let out a relieved sigh when his mother broke the news that her invitation wasn't attending his gala thanks to her busy schedule. However, he could only reply with a nod to seem that he was barely interested.
When the dreadful hour finally went by, he stood next to his brother to bid their parents goodbye as they watched their car leave.
His brother turned to him, "So you finally got yourself into a scandal, huh?" He asked chuckling. Even though he took down the news quickly, but the fact that it got through a lot of people that surround him was a little hard to bear.
