Jaehee pushed the door to the office open. As she entered, the clerk gave her a look and thus the girl explained herself. She was supposed to hand in her assignments. Most of her classmates did so before, she was one of the late ones.

Of course, she didn't do it on purpose as she was too busy to stop by. Jaehee stood still by the counter as she waited for her results. The curious girl scanned around the place, trying to register in her head what it looked like as she rarely come there.

There was a room labelled with a vip tag, the door itself looked luxurious. She found herself staring at the door until it was opened. Jaehee recognised the man walking out, it was the university's chairman. However, the woman who was walking next to him wasn't someone she knew, rather, she seemed to have barely recognise her.

Jaehee knew it wasn't the chairman's wife as she had seen the said woman before. This specific elegant woman was oddly familiar but Jaehee can't recall where has she seen her before. The two females got tangled in a brief eye contact until the clerk called for Jaehee.

Reluctantly, the younger one tore her gaze away from the classy woman. "Mrs. Kim, hella rich." The clerk commented and Jaehee awkwardly reacted to it. The feeling was bugging her, she was keen to remember.

Jaehee remembered the facts that Haechan told her. That must be his mother. Though Jaehee didn't particularly met the lady at the party but she was certain that it was one of the powerful woman she was thinking about.

Instantly, she decided to turn away, hoping that his mother wouldn't recognise her from the gossips or from the party itself. Besides, the party was months ago. The last thing she needed was direct drama with Doyoung's family.

After submitting her assignment, she was done for the day. Jaehee wasn't working today as well. She was wondering what she could do for the day until she heard her name being shouted from afar.

She recognised the troublemaker's voice. Turning around, she was attacked by a sudden hug, one of his arms hanging loose around her shoulders as they turned towards the exit.

"Wanna grab lunch?" Taeyong asked so easily. The hate she had for him was slowly dissolving as he kept randomly approaching her. After seeing Yuta again, she only realised that he was the sole problem.

Since she didn't have anything better to do, she decided there was no harm spending the day with him. "You're paying." She said a little sternly. "Of course, princess. What do you take me for?" He asked, an eyebrow raised.

He rounded his white Tesla Model S before unlocking it. Jaehee couldn't hide the admiration she had for his car. He drove a BMW before and it hadn't been that long since she last saw him.

"Like what you see?" He chuckled before getting into the car. "Driving a Tesla to campus is a little bit too much don't you think?" She asked as she close the door.

Taeyong shrugged his shoulder, "I need to impress people, I'm single anyway." He replied, barely any sadness hinting in his voice. "Really? When did you two break up?" She asked.

His girlfriend was a full time model if she wasn't mistaken, she was the new face of Bvlgari. She was young but very much demanded in the modelling industry. She walked the Victoria Secret's runaway when she was 18 and was a damn hottie.

"Not long after you two did. She said I was paying too much attention to talk to you and that she had to focus on her job." He managed to throw her a smile while driving.

Jaehee didn't expect for him to be serious when he said he couldn't find the right moment to talk to her. She never took Taeyong seriously, but maybe he was sincere when he wanted to be friends.
