Chapter 5

Snake's POV:

We heard the alarm go off, the woman was trying to escape. How could she still move? She was badly hurts a few days ago. She's strong, I could see her beat up our men with only one hand. Even if she was kicking ass she didn't go far or escape. The rest surrounded her and Quiet managed to hold her down, the woman was afraid. "Quiet, take her back to her cell and help her calm down." I said. There was point where me and the girl locked eyes, only for a brief moment. I had to go on a mission first with Quiet, Ocelot and Kaz took it from there.

Kaz's POV:

As soon as she was sitting on the bed, Ocelot took the liberty of taking a recording device for Snake to here when he comes back. I didn't liked this idea of letting her live, over 20 of our men hurt and unconscious in the medical bay. The girl looked afraid, looking her surroundings. Shalashashka sat in front of her, asking the obvious questions first.

Ocelot: What is your name? Can you speak?

Samus: M-My name is Aran....Samus Aran. Can you please tell me where we are?

Ocelot: Samus huh? Where you are is at Mother Base. I am Ocelot, and this is my companion Kazuhira. You may call him Kaz.

Samus: I meant by planet, what planet is this. What are you all? You look so much like me.

Ocelot: You are in a little planet called Earth. I am sure you are very confused right now but you shouldn't be scared. We won't hurt you, now tell me, where are you from and what you are. I saw your little metal friend in your ship. 

Samus: I...I'm a bounty hunter....and a Metroid slayer. I was....I was killing some pirates and then....I don't remember.

Ocelot: Bounty Hunter? So you're a soldier.

Kaz: She ain't no soldier, she is lying! What about the alien we faced?! you sent it! 

Samus: What alien? You are the aliens! I have not sent anything!

Ocelot: Calm down Miller, I will make this easier for you. We will give her some truth serum to make you ease.

Ocelot did what he said and the girl was right, she even told us more about herself. If Boss hears this, he will make her stay. We don't know the girl's intentions but she will not carry her metallic entity or gun.

Samus' POV

The man, Ocelot, commanded men to feed me. I accepted his kindness and his personal information about myself. I will stay until I recover and maybe repair my ship to leave. I can feel another woman around me, pointing some kind of gun at me. The other one, Kaz, doesn't like me and I don't have a reason why. Medics give me pills and replace my bandages.

Samus: Is my Varia alright? My ship??

Ocelot: Varia? The suit? It's in good hands and we won't touch it. The ship, well unfortunately, got destroyed when you crashed, we salvaged some parts but it seems you lost it. I'm sorry.

When I heard that I felt panic and fear, the universe needed me to protect it. I can't leave this place. I started to feel drowsy and upset, wanting to know how I landed here....how did I end up here? I guess memories recover slowly in time. I lie down and quickly pass out, drugged by the medicine and hurt by my wounds.
