Chapter 6

Snake's POV:

I arrived at dawn. I was so tired, but I didn't sleep, I couldn't, there was too much going on.  The helicopter landed and Quiet disappeared, going away. I took a quick shower,  Blood everywhere from the Soviets I killed.  After I got rid of the blood I contacted Ocelot and led me to the woman. Every soldier looked afraid, heading to her cell I noticed the wounded, how did she fight if most of her  limbs were broken?  So she is different. Not like us, Kaz might have been right.

At her cell I see her sleeping, her good hand and leg tied to the bed. Her neck still and supported with medical resources, she looked even better than last time. Ocelot reported to me about the scene she made. I heard the recording and became confused, so she is from space and can't remember how she got here.

Our men would throw her out or will try to kill her because of what she did. I kept hearing the recording, thinking how to start a conversation. Quiet aimed at her with her tranquilize her in case she tries to attack. Me and Ocelot watched her until she woke.

Samus' POV:

I woke up feeling a lot of pain, my lips dry and my body felt like it was paralyzed. I thought everything was a bad dream, it wasn't. In front of me the same men, and the one who caught me close to me, one of his arms replaced by a metal arm, he looked broken like me, he's missing an eye. He got close to me and sat on the bed, he held something small  in one hand and in the other a cup. I was afraid, for the first time. He spoke.

Snake: Take this. It's a pill, it will ease the pain.

I didn't trust him, in fact, I didn't trust anybody. I tried to move but I shook my head and winced hard in pain, forgetting that I was broken. I pant and gripped the bed.

Ocelot: Aran please take it. You can trust the Boss, we won't hurt you.

The man untied me and helped me sit up, I took the small thing and put it in my mouth. He helped me drink water, I swallowed fast and coughed a little. I took the cup and drank all the liquids I could get. The man sat on another chair and placed the same device that Ocelot had yesterday. I looked at them, alerted, calm but still afraid.

Ocelot's POV:

The Boss started asking the same questions to the girl, she seemed calm and willing to talk. I recorded everything, every minute they talked.

Snake: What is your name soldier?

Samus: Samus Aran, Bounty Hunter from the planet of  K2-L.

Snake: Do you remember how you got here?

Samus: No, I only remember yesterday. I remember my Varia and my ship, and now I'm trapped here.

Snake: Do you know something about an alien coming here?

Samus: What kind of Alien are we talking about?

I gave the Boss a couple of pictures of the entity that attacked us before she crash landed on the Base. It appeared that she recognized it, she was angry. I saw it in her eyes, there was fire.

Samus: This is...a Metroid...But how did it got here? I was suppose to destroy them all.

Snake: that thing is still here and we need you to tell us how to destroy it and where do they come from. Can you do that after you recover.

Samus: Y-yes On one condition. If you fix my ship or help me make another one.

Kaz: Boss! We can't do that! She will escape and make other monsters like that come!

Samus: Like hell I would lead them here! The Metroid are deadly creatures and they need to be extinct! I will help you!

Samus winced a little, she seemed trustworthy but that is all up to the Boss. He managed to feed her and gave her all she needed, clothes, medicine, etc. She barely knew anything about our world, as well as we knew a little of her. She grew fond to talk to me and Snake, Miller just wants her out or dead.

Samus' POV:

I don't know how to feel or what to feel but these people needed my help. At first I need to get better and remember what happened to me. That Kaz didn't trust me, thought I might betray them but why should I? Is he always that stubborn, the other soldiers were afraid of me. They kept feeding me strange things but quite nice, strange clothing too. I don't know much about this place, but I never said I don't want to leave just yet. I will stay for a while and protect them, they need us. They deserve it.
