Chapter 10

A year later:

Ocelot's POV:

It seem like it was yesterday Samus killed an alien and gave us peace.  Today was her first mission outside with the Boss. It's when they first discovered their feelings. I don't wanna talk about that. But they just won't leave her room, they were listening to music, it was pretty loud but it was a good day for Samus to learn about or planet. We introduced her to DD. He liked her quickly but she, hah boy, she thought DD was an alien, a hairy drooling alien. When DD made Samus pet him, she instantly fell in love and called him cute or weird names. Chicks like cute things, but Aran is a bit different. She won't squeal or anything or react madly with adorable things, Samus just smiled and called him cute.

Anyway, now they're hearing music after a mission...I wonder what happens tonight. Make the music loud.

Snake's POV:

I don't think I ever said this but I had fun today, and it was the best day of my life. It was Samus' first mission after she fully recovered and fixed Mother Base. She also fixed her suit, and made a few upgrades thanks to Emmerich. I've been teaching Samus everything about our planet, it's pretty exhausting. Curious little girl, It's kind of...attractive. Always asking questions like " What kind of alien is DD?" or "What is a dessert?" the same thing when we feed her. Asking what kind of food we give her. It doesn't bother me, because she's learning and trusting us more. Today I told her we were gonna go to Afghanistan, find some strange minerals and some alien substance she detected. We arrived by helicopter and landed near a mine....guarded by soviets. Samus and I split up. She's so strange, her suit gave her the ability to morph into a ball. As she was looking for the materials, I was interrogating a few soviets. If they are still making threats, who is leading them? Eli? The kid in the gas mask? Whoever it is we must be ready for it.

Our targets were in a small cabin but it was well guarded. I looked around for a safe place to go in but then as I zoomed in to see the inside I saw Samus already inside. How? Damn this girl is...amazing. I watched over her for any threat near, she easily got out but someone spotted me. Samus shot the Soviet, alerting the others. We had to escape. She let me grab a suitcase, full of alien fluids, while she shoot and protect me. The cabin exploded, she must've placed bombs, it destroyed almost everything.

Right when we were escaping and out of sight someone shot my leg. I fell and Samus shot back, she was angry as hell that she instantly broke his face into bits with her fist. Looks like she has....feelings for me. Maybe. Could it be? She helped me up and took me to the landing zone of the chopper. I told her I was so, that the bullets just scratched me but she got too worried.

Samus' POV:

He can't just say he was all right, I heard his grunts, they hurt him. The Soviets will pay for hurting Snake. I took off my helmet and checked him. He stopped me, saying it was enough.

Samus: sorry it's just that...I'm sorry...I don't want to see you hurt.

Snake: I'll be ok. Trust me. This is nothing.

Samus: It's just that you always go to your missions without rest. I mean, I don't either but feels lonely. At least we finished the mission. -smiles-

Snake: It's the first time I...see you smile. You look great...how come you never have.

Samus: I was trained to...kill...not to feel...but I guess I failed at some point.

I noticed myself closer to him, he has some sort of charm I can't describe. His face was close to mine and one of his hands on my hip. He was...no wait...really?

Snake: Samus...

That instant Quiet grabbed Snake and took him away for recovery. She looked angry, because I was spending more time with the Boss. I got upset. I took Varia off and safe in my room, j wanted to clear my head. I trained for at least two hours, gaining speed and strength. Snake appeared and saw me, he looked a little disappointed, of what?

Snake: Thought I find you here.

Samus: I just...uh yeah, for a while.

Snake: listen what happened there. Quiet and I aren't...like that.

Samus: really? Oh I wasn't even going that far Boss. I don't really know your bond with her.

Snake: stop moving....please. just...stop...

When I throw my leg and kick  a dummy, Snake held my leg in mid air with his metal arm. He didn't let me go, I tried to move but he moved me close to him instead, my leg wrapped around him as I fell into his arms and...
