"What's wrong dear?" Effie asked the little girl.
"N-n-nothing," she stuttered.
"Well, enough of all that drama, now for our boy tribute!" Effie proclaimed, with that same cheeriness in her voice as before.

                          
Just then, a Capitol hovercraft appeared above where the woods were. Two metal claws went down and when they came back up, they were carrying two figures.

                          
Prim straightened her back. She knew that some punishment was going to come upon Katniss and Gale. She couldn't help but wonder why Katniss had been out in the woods anyway. It was reaping day!

                          
"-lark!" Prim just caught the last of Effie's voice. She hadn't realised that she'd zoned out.

                          
She looked up at the boy. With his blond hair and blue eyes, he could've been her brother.
He gave her a sad smile. She returned it. She brought out her hand, to see if it was genuine. He shook it. Prim knew that she could trust him.
