Nightmare 3

It was late at night and you were fast asleep. Your husband Keith was asleep next to you. You were in such a deep sleep. You didn't hear him tossing and turning. He was having a really bad dream. It started out as a good dream. With him winning awards and singing on stage.
Then the dream would change to him being chased by monsters. And it was really freaking him out.  He woke up terrified. He was breathing heavily and looking around for a threat as if the monster who had been chasing him in his dream had become real. He burst into tears and was shaking in fear. You immediately sit up when you hear his cries and pull him close to you. He continues to cry as he shakes with fear.
"What's the matter? What happened?" You ask with concern. He whimpers. "I had a nightmare that monsters were chasing me." He whines. "Shh Shh It's ok it's all over now I'm right here. No one is gonna hurt you." You say gently. He nods and whimpers. You frown as you kiss his head. "It's ok bud I've got you now. There's no need to be scared." You say. He nods as he buries his head against your neck. You can feel his tears as they fall and hit your neck. "Shh Shh" You say. "It's ok it's ok I'm holding you and you are here with me. No one is gonna hurt you." You tell him. He continues to cry as you hold him tight trying to calm him down. After a few more of crying. He finally calms down. When you pull away he whines. "Shh Shh It's ok bud. I'm going to lay down then we can cuddle ok? Come here." You say as you lay down. He nods and lays down next to you and you pull him close to you. He snuggles up against you. You can tell he's calmed down. Then he closes his eyes and falls asleep. You smile as you watch him sleep. Then you kiss his head then let your head hit the pillow and you fall asleep too holding him close.
A/N Hey Guys Sorry for my long absence I was super busy with school and now I'm out for the summer but I will be having major hip/leg surgery Tuesday Morning. (May 29th) and will be in the hospital until Friday. (At least that's what we hope.) then once I get out of the hospital I will need to take some time to get adjusted/set up at home. So I unfortunately will still be busy. I will try to update as much as I can. I plan to update again tomorrow if I am able as I am almost finish with another part I am working on so you won't have to wait a long time to be updated. I know I'll be busy but I promise to try and publish as much as possible. But Tonight and tomorrow will be my last updates for awhile as I work on starting recovery and getting into a new routine. I am so so so so so so very sorry everyone. But Enjoy.
