You sigh as you take care of your sick husband on his birthday. You had a full day planned of fun with him and the girls.

Then he suddenly got sick with stomach issues.

So you instead spend the day helping Keith with his stomach issues.

He feels miserable all day and the medicine doesn't help much. You spend the day trying to help him.

He gets calls from family and friends wishing him a happy birthday.

He gets to open his presents and that makes him happy.

You help him celebrate his birthday even though he feels miserable.

The girls give him birthday cards and sing happy birthday. He smiles and hugs them. "Thanks, Guys," he says with a weak smile on his face.

You smile as you take Keith's hand and give it a squeeze. He smiles wider and kisses you. "happy birthday my love." You say smiling at him.

He sighs and nuzzles against you. You smile and ruffle his hair.

"back to bed, we go. we can continue celebrating when you feel better." Keith whines in protest. "cake?" he asks looking up at you with those beautiful blue eyes making you swoon.

You sigh as you kiss his head.

"No not now your stomach can't handle cake right now." You remind him.

He sighs heavily and whimpers looking over at the chocolate cake on the table that has the candle numbers 52 on it and written on it is Happy Birthday Keith!

He whimpers again and you listen to his rumbling stomach. "Sorry, sweetie." You say leading him up to bed.

You help him get comfy in bed then join him to cuddle and rub his aching stomach. He cuddles you and falls asleep curled up close to you.

You smile happy he's slowly getting better and was able to enjoy part of his birthday.

After a few days of rest and medicine, Keith was able to eat his birthday cake and celebrate with family and friends.

A/N I know this was supposed to be uploaded on his actual Birthday but unfortunately I was busy that day. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. Love Paige :}
