Clingy and needy

You frown as you sit on the couch in the living room with Keith curled up next to you and his head in your lap. He was really upset and wasn't feeling well.
He started to feel sick last night and even though he felt terrible he still had gone out to do some interviews. They didn't go very well and that made him very upset.
When he got home he cried and called for you and now both of you were on the couch in the living room.
You were stroking his hair and he was starting to relax. "I feel terrible" Keith whined. "I know baby I know. I'm sorry bud." You say. "Everything hurts" He whimpers. "Shh Shh. Just try to get some rest sweetie." "Only if you stay here and don't leave me alone." He whines. "Ok I'll stay right here. Don't worry." You say gently.
Keith sighs heavily and closes his eyes and falls asleep.
20 minutes later
Keith wakes up from his nap still feeling sick.
When you want to go grab some medicine for him.
He doesn't want you to leave. "It'll only be for a second sweetie." You tell him as you get up from the couch.
Then you go upstairs and head to the bathroom to get the medicine.
Then you head back downstairs to the living room. "I'm sorry but It's the liquid kind bud." You say as you hand him the small cup with the medicine in it.
Keith takes it from you and downs the medicine. Then gags as he hands the cup back to you. "I know baby it's nasty. I'm sorry bud." You say as you take the cup from him to go put it away. Keith whines when you come back. "It's ok it's ok I'm back don't worry," you say gently. As you sit back down next to him. You pull him close and hold him tight. "You'll feel better soon bud. You tell him. He nods and cuddles up to you falling asleep.
After a few days of rest and medicine he got better.
