~Thanatos~
This is why I don't like humans. They're all way too damn nosy.
~Blaine~
I gulped as I looked up at Thanatos' scowling face. Well, this could have gone a lot better.
"Blaine," he said slowly, taking a menacing step down the stairs. "Just what exactly were you doing outside of my bedroom door?"
I blushed bright red. "Uh. . . Well, you see. . ." Shit! Am I not capable of coming up with a plausible lie? I silently berated myself for losing my head when he looked at me like that.
He quickly descended the rest of the stairs and stood threateningly above me. "Don't make me repeat myself," he warned.
I gulped. "I got bored down here and I couldn't resist the urge to be nosy," I whispered.
He groaned. "Great, I just had to f-"
"Alright, then!" Therapeftis shouted, cutting Thanatos off and successfully gaining both of our attentions. "I guess I should probably be on my way. Thanatos, remember what I've said. And, Blaine, good luck dealing with this hard-headed ass."
I grinned sheepishly. "I highly doubt that'll be a problem. He'll probably get tired of me and take me back home within a matter of hours."
~Thanatos~
Blaine grinned up at my cousin. "I highly doubt that'll be a problem. He'll probably get tired of me and take me back home within a matter of hours."
Alright, that one hurt more than it should have. He really thought I would just abandon him at the hands of that monster his mother had married? I could never be that heartless. Even if I wasn't head over heels for him.
Remember what you'll do to him. Is it really worth killing the only person you've ever truly loved?
There must be some way I could prevent that. I mean, there's always some way to avoid doing something, right?
He grimaced. Not this time, Thanatos.
I sighed. Alright, I'll keep that in mind.
"Okay, I really must be going now."
~Blaine~
Alright, I'm pretty sure I was missing something right about now. Thanatos and Therapeftis were just standing there, staring at one another. It was almost as if they were having some telepathic conversation.
"Okay, I really must be going now."
"I'll walk you to the door," Thanatos said.
He just nodded and made his way down the stairs. They both went back through the living room and I just continued laying in my landing spot. I didn't really see the point in getting up at the moment. They were probably carrying on another private conversation at the door.
I sighed. What was up with those two anyway? Were they always like this? And why did I care? And where were all of these questions coming from? I groaned at my inner turmoil and sat up. That line of thought was getting me absolutely nowhere, so there was really no point in pursuing it.
~Thanatos~
I sighed after the door had shut and turned on my heel. Now, I had to deal with the nuisance I had somehow fallen for. Did I ever mention how much I hate humans?

A/N: Alright, so this chapter was extemely short and completely crappy, but here it is. I'm probably going to stop this at around 15 or 20 chapters, so, yeah. Anywhore, just let me know what you think. Love you guys!!!
