After talking with the Captain, Barry was nervous. Would someone else notice? He really couldn't tell Joe or Iris or anyone that he had screwed Cold, or about the heartbreak, he was feeling, so he just needed to GET OVER IT!!!
But it wasn't that easy. He had gotten a taste of heaven, and now he couldn't come back to Earth. How was he supposed to?
But he needed to. He was the half-son of a cop and a CSI. And the flipping Flash! How could he put all of that at risk? That was selfish. He shouldn't put everything on the line just for some crush. For some villain.
Suddenly, he heard a knock
Suddenly, he heard a knock. "Come on in," he said. Iris barged in like she owned the place. Barry almost snorted. Iris was being a little bit rude. She barged in, and from the looks of it, didn't notice how he was feeling, and likely didn't care.
He was, of course, exactly right.
"Eddie's being so unreasonable," she pouted. "He says that I should talk to him about the stuff I talk to you about. And stop seeing you." Barry was already bored. Wait for it. Wait. Waiiiiiiitttttttt.
"Wally said the same thing. He was eavesdropping on us! The nerve!" There it was. Wally always had something bad to say about Barry. Always. And the worst thing was, she told him what Wally said. And her standpoint on it.
He hated it. A lot.
Wally was a jerk, at least, according to Barry. He always said what he was thinking, and he never shut up.
Joe and Iris usually took his side too. Whenever he would tell them, they would just dismiss it. Say he was overreacting. That he didn't mean it. Surrrrrreeeeee.
He didn't like Iris like that anymore. When Wally joined the family, she slowly started ditching him. Stopped seeing him at all. So did Joe. Said he wanted to get to know his other son. Barry's question was if all he wanted was to get to know Wally, then why did he never visit the lab anymore? Or Barry himself?
"So, yeah. I hate that he always listens in. So rude," Iris said. Hypocrite thought Barry. Iris looked at Barry. Normally, he would give her advice or comfort, but today he had none to give. Instead, he said, "Iris, look. I have a lot of work to get done, but I'm really sorry about Wally and Eddie.
"See ya later," he said as she left.
Whatever. Snart was the reason he was being a jerk today. Len was a jerk. What did Barry see in him?
He quickly finished the rest of his day without incident. Thank God. Then he ran to STAR Labs, where he almost ran into Cisco. "Yo, man, slow down!" Barry may or may not have smirked with that comment. Especially with the slight pun.
"Anyway, hurry! A bank is being robbed as we speak!"
"Why didn't you start with that?" Barry grumbled as he sped into his suit.
Then he ran to the bank. There, waiting by the vault where his partners were robbing it, was Snart.

He could not focus. At all. All he could think about was vibrating. He vibrated. Barry vibrated.
Ugh. He couldn't get any work done. He really needed to get laid. But wasn't that the problem?
What he needed was to see Barry. That's it. He really should see Barry. But wouldn't be mad at him for blowing him off? But that's not Barry's style. Is it? Or maybe mad at the note? Or mad it had happened?
