So, Len assumed that Barry had been in the arms of another person. (Len thought he was gay, not bi!!!) He didn't know why, but he felt an emptiness in his chest. He had heard people in the movies say that they were happy for their ex's, but Len didn't understand how they could say that. He could never say that he was happy for Barry! He liked Barry! He couldn't say that he would be happy for him if he found someone else!

He felt like crying. He almost never cried, not since he ran away with Lisa.

Len was racing through the woods, Lisa right beside him. He could hear Lewis in the distance, but Len knew that if he caught them, they would never be free again.

He could feel his sister's tears in the wind, but now was not the time to comfort her. She was fine, but if Lewis caught her, she wouldn't stay that way.

So he ran, thinking of every single moment of his life that he had been treated differently, of every taunt of every kid, every witty comeback, every whip, everything he wished he and Lisa had never experienced.

Somehow, he realized that he was crying, but not for himself. He was thinking of every horrible thing Lewis had done to his mother, including but not limited to: Rape, whipping, slapping, mental abuse, forcing her to rob places, and keeping Len hostage. He couldn't believe a person could be this horrible to anyone, let alone their wife.

He heard Lewis's footsteps getting closer, but Len didn't care. He would always escape, as would Lisa. He would never bow to Lewis. Ever.

He felt tears on his face now, about everything he had accomplished since then. Nothing good, but he did it all for Lisa.

Now, he would do anything for Barry.

...

After another night with Sam, Barry realized that he was finally content. He had a friend uninvolved in Flash business, a loving family, an amazing job, and he saved the city on a daily basis. What else could he possibly want?

Barry knew the answer to that, but even he couldn't admit it yet. He needed time. Or, at least, that was what he told himself more often than he saved the city.

...

When Barry finally walked into his apartment that day, he was annoyed. He looked scanned the living room, then, apparently satisfied, he walked up to his room to find Leonard Snart. Damnit.

He eyed him angrily. "What the hell are you doing here, Snart?" Barry asked angrily, as he was in a bad mood since last night.

"Why such a cold welcome?" Cold asked. "I thought you liked me, the bed only proved it."

Barry really was on his last straw, because as soon as Snart said that, he pinned him against the wall, and he put his face as close as possible to Snart's without touching him and said, "I am on my last nerve. I am so sick of seeing you, here, there, anywhere. So, stop following me."

Snart looked up like he was in pain. He looked Barry up and down, then he laughed it off like Barry was joking.

Barry wasn't.

"Who put a stick up your ass?" Snart asked cooly. "You did, Asshole," Barry answered angrily. "All those stupid comebacks, stupid drunk nights, stupid one-night-stands? I hope karma's a bitch to you, Baby." Snart looked shocked that one comment had gotten a rise out of Barry. Maybe he was being kind of a dick...

He was stalking Barry...

"Well, you've been giving my heists the cold shoulder, and you've been giving me the cold shoulder! What am I supposed to do!?!?" Len shouted angrily. Barry looked at him in confusion. "Why does it matter if I ignore you? It's not like you care! You certainly proved that when you broke my heart! You fucked me, the gave me a note explaining why it was a mistake, and why you regretted it! Even if I didn't have feelings for you that would've hurt!"

After he realized the gravity of what he had said, he stared at Len, hoping he hadn't heard him.

His luck ran out.

Len stared at him, openmouthed. "What did you say?" Len asked sharply.

Barry looked at him. What had he done?

He had to get away. He couldn't deal with this now.

So, being a coward, he ran.

...

Len couldn't believe it. Barry really had had feelings for him! Question is, is that a had?

Len had to find out, and he knew exactly how to do that...

...

Barry couldn't believe that he'd admitted that. To Len!!!! That was the most embarrassing thing he had ever done!!! And that was a very long list...

Barry accidentally admitted he was gay to Joe.

Barry accidentally admitted he used to have feelings for Iris.

Barry accidentally admitted he was The Flash to Henry.

The last one turned out to be a good thing, but still.

He knew he babbled when he was nervous or angry, but this was a new level. How was he going to get over Len now?
