Chapter 13: Hatching A Plan

Len's plan was simple:

1. Kidnap Cisco/Caitlin

2. Get them to say if Barry had feelings for him

3. If so, sweep Barry off his feet

It really was simple.

Barry was going crazy. Was Snart gonna act on what he had said? 

Barry was scared. What if Snart managed to wiggle his way beck into Barry's heart? What if he hurt Barry again? Could Barry move past it a second time? Had he even moved past it the first time?

All these questions, all without answers. Now, where could he find those answers...

Len decided on Caitlin since Lisa had supposedly broken up with Cisco. He knew exactly how to extract her too. 

But, of course, there was a complication. 

Barry stayed late. Later than Caitlin. He could still kidnap her in the parking lot, but if she made too much noise, Barry would come down and that would ruin everything.

...

Caitlin was walking to her car when she saw Snart standing with his eyes closed next to her car. Was he seriously going to kidnap her again? 

"Well, I'd say nice to see you, except for the fact that the last time I actually saw you, you kidnapped me, so I'd prefer not to do a repeat. Not to mention that one shout and Barry would be down here," Caitlin said. Snart looked at her in shock.

"I was here to kidnap you, but the whole point was that Barry wouldn't know, and I don't really want to risk it, so goodbye." He turned as if to walk away, but Caitlin let her curiosity overrule her caution. "Why were you going to kidnap me?" Caitlin asked. 

Snart looked at her like she was crazy; maybe she was. All she knew was that this was a weird situation.

Then he looked like a deer in headlights when he realized that she was serious. 

"Oh, uh, sorry. I came here to, uh, ask you about Barry," Snart stuttered out. "What about Barry?" Caitlin asked sweetly. "If he, uh, maybe, uh, mentioned harboring feelings for me?" Snart asked quickly. "I've noticed that I may or may not be harboring for him, so I had to know if they were returned."

Caitlin smiled. "Most people wouldn't try to kidnap a person to know if they their crush liked them back," she joked, "But, to be honest, I don't know. I think he does like you, but he can't admit it yet because of something you or someone else did."

Snart nodded. "Definitely something I did," he said under his breath. Caitlin had really good hearing, so, she asked the question she had been wondering from the beginning. 

"What did you do to Barry to make him hate you so much?" Caitlin asked. Snart looked at her in fear. "I would be revealing Barry's privacy if I did that," he responded. "I told you what you wanted to know; now you have to return the favor," she said with a smirk.

"Well, I had been pinning for a girl named Sara for awhile-" He was cut off when a streak of lighting ran up to him and punched  square in the jaw. Caitlin gasped in surprise; Snart gasped in pain. 

Barry appeared as soon as the time caught up to him. He looked at Snart with anger, then he turned to Caitlin with exactly the same face.

"What the hell is he doing here?" he asked quietly as he looked at Caitlin. She knew that voice; it meant that if you didn't say exactly what he wanted to hear, he would explode.

Snart, being a complete idiot, put on his smirk.

"Well, I was just here flirting with the hottest women I knew," he said. Caitlin blushed, and Barry's temper blew.

He growled; it was a low warning, but Snart kept pressing. "She's actually an amazing women. Very pretty, sweet, kind, good in bed... well, at least better than you."

Barry charged him, and Caitlin watched in complete shock.

"Stop! Stop!" Caitlin yelled. Barry looked at her in tears. 

Then it hit her; Barry didn't think Snart had been kidding. He thought that he had been serious, and by Caitlin telling Barry to stop, she was encouraging that theory. 

"Barry, wait!!" she shouted as he ran. To where, she didn't know, but she knew tomorrow was going to be awkward as hell.

"Look what you did!!" Caitlin shouted at Snart. He literally backed away. For once he had a brain.

She stormed away to get some sleep before her big fight tomorrow, especially since she would need to wake up early to warn Cisco.

...

She didn't sleep. 

Note: Wow. That was an absolute shocker, huh? Totally didn't plan it, but next chapter is about to get interesting...
