Note: Lisa doesn't know Barry looks like. She knows his name, Bartholomew Allen, and that he's a CSI, and his nickname, Barry, but that's it.
...
"Cisco, I don't think that was a good idea. Obviously, something happened between them, and before we continue, we need to know what it was. Otherwise, we'll do more harm than good."
Cisco nodded. "I watched the footage and I saw Barry sit down with Snart, but he quickly got up with a pained expression. I can't help but wonder what Snart could have said to get him to leave."
Caitlin looked at Cisco. "I heard a conversation between them. It did not sound good. We need to proceed with caution."
Suddenly, Barry woke.
He gasped and looked around wildly. When he decided he was safe, he sat down on the bed as he panted.
Caitlin and Cisco didn't even look up from their conversation.
"Hey buddy," Cisco said as he walked over. "How was last night's date?" Barry's scared expression immediately turned sour. "It was with Snart. How do you think it went?" Cisco and Caitlin shared a glance. This was worse than they thought. "What was so bad about it?" Cisco asked. "None of your business," Barry deadpanned.
Cisco tried to laugh to ease the tension, but it really didn't help. If anything, it made it worse. "Seriously," Barry said. Then he got up and walked to the bathrooms.
...
They didn't see him for the rest of the day.
...
Lisa was really concerned for her brother. He had fallen asleep crying on her shoulder after having a flashback. Neither of those things happened unless he was in a really bad place. He must really care about this Barry. She could see the affection the Flash held for Len, but in the last few weeks, it had disappeared. Len must have done something. That would explain a lot. But what did he do and how could she help?
She would need to get Barry to tell her. But where would she find him?
...
She ended up at Saints and Sinners. Every place he went that she knew about was somewhere she wouldn't be caught dead in. Some were places she literally would be caught dead in.
When she walked in, the first thing she noticed was a tall, lanky brunette at the bar. Maybe that was what she needed...
So, she walked over and decided to try hard to get. He didn't even look over.
Hard to get was not going to work.
Maybe easy to get would...
She turned to face him, and she found him staring at a bottle. Looks like he was trying to get over someone. She could help with that.
"Hey cutie," she said. He turned, and he looked completely wrecked. Wow. She'd never seen someone so wasted. This would be fun. "What's your name?" she asked. "Barry," he said.
"Wanna get outta here?" He nodded.
When they got to her place, she sat him on the bed.
Soon, clothes were forgotten, and they were passed out.
...
When she woke, she looked at him. He was seriously hot. And tall. Like, unnaturally tall.
Suddenly, Barry woke. He looked at her. He looked around. Then at her. Then, something that looked like recognition came to his face. "Lisa?" he asked. That was weird; She had never told him her name.
Wait.
How did he know her name?
His name was Barry.
Barry. As in Barry Allen, who was the name of the CSI. That was the Flash. And Len's crush.
Seriously?
She had to be sure.
"What's your last name?" she asked. Barry looked at her weirdly. "Allen. Barry Allen," he said.
Oh shit.
"GET OUT!!! Now!!!" Barry looked at her in complete confusion. Normally, it would have been adorable, but considering the situation, it wasn't.
"Get out. Now. Or else." Barry looked ready to cry. She didn't care. "Do you mean it?" he questioned. "Yes!! This was meaningless, drunk sex. Ok? I don't care about you! I slept with you out of pity. It wasn't anything!" She saw a tear fall. She had overdone it, but she couldn't fix it.
"Guess all Snarts are the same," he muttered. "WHAT!?!?!" she yelled angrily. Barry chuckled darkly.
"Well, seeing as how your brother had a one-night-stand with me and was rude to me too. The only difference? He left a note explaining that I was just some hookup, didn't mean anything, he didn't care about me, hope doesn't make fights awkward instead of yelling at me. Not to mention he didn't take advantage of me or my feelings. Oh, wait, he did. Just because he got rejected. So, yeah, thanks for a repeat. Really needed it." Barry smiled darkly. "Thanks for letting me be a waste of your time. That's what you were gonna say, right?" He sped off before she could answer. That had been exactly what she was gonna say next.
...
Lisa felt terrible. For Len and Barry. She had seriously screwed with their relationship. (Literally!)
How could she fix this? It was her fault.
At least she knew what Len had done.
He really hadn't ever done worse. Ever. And he really should've apologized to Barry instead of putting up a wall. Especially because the kid had feelings for Len.
This was so screwed up.
...
Barry was flopped down on his bed and let the tears fall. Even the sister of his crush didn't want him. She PITTED him. Pitted!
What was the point of having a relationship? Broken hearts? 'Cause if that was the point, then he was the best at relationships!
