"Did you do it?" Caitlin asked Cisco as soon as Barry runs to fight the daily meta. Cisco nods. "Yep. I installed it. Let's just hope it works, if only so we don't get busted." Iris nods as she walks over. "This better work. I wanna know why Barry's acting so weird." Joe nodded his agreement. "Definitely. Let's just hope this works."

Barry was exhausted after his fight with 'Fire Dancer', (Not a Cisco approved name) a meta who could breath fire. Unsurprisingly, he had gotten burned. And it hurt. A lot.
He ran to STAR Labs to get Caitlin to help the burns. And to take a nap.
"Hey, Caitlin," he said walking in. "MedBay?" She nodded. "Of course, Barry."

After his nap, Barry found himself surrounded by his friends/family. "Yes?" he questioned. They turned to him with smirks.

"So, Barry, why have you been acting so weird?" Joe started. "I always act weird," Barry replied. "True, but you haven't been acting like yourself." Everyone nodded. "You've been acting cheery, which you normally don't."
Barry looked at them in confusion. He decided that he would have to say something. "I heard that cheerfulness can be helpful for getting over breakups." He immediately knew he had said the wrong thing when everyone's annoyed expressions turned to shock. "What breakup?" Iris demanded.
Barry looked at the ground. He couldn't tell them about his night of passion with a known criminal who had actually tried to kill Barry more than once. They would literally kill him.
Wait. He could run now, come up with an excuse later...
He darted around them, then ran for the door. He hit the doorway with a loud boom.
He tried again with the same result. What was going on?
He turned to face his friends. Cisco was wearing a grin, Caitlin was concern, Iris had a smirk, and Joe just looked confused. "Did you have something to do with this?" Barry demanded. Cisco nodded. "We knew something was up, and we guessed you wouldn't tell us willingly, so we put this speedster force-field as a safety net."
Damn his friends for knowing him so well.
"So," started Caitlin. "What's this about a breakup?" Barry looked at them and could tell he was not getting away now. What to say?...
He couldn't tell the truth, they would see through a lie, and he needed to answer. Ugh. How did he get in these situations again?

Kara walked into STAR Labs to see that Barry was pressed up against the door, and his friends were circling him like hungry vultures. "What's going on here?" she asked as she walked in. Barry's face immediately went pale. Kara would probably tell them about Len.
Everyone turned to her in surprise. "What are you doing here?" asked Caitlin. "Also, who the hell are you?" Cisco asked. Kara looked around to see Barry looking at her. "Please," he mouthed. "Don't tell them about Lenny." Kara nodded. Barry looked shocked.
"See ya at your place, Barry," Kara called over her shoulder as she headed to the doorway. Immediately she was pushed back. "What the hell?" she asked in anger. Cisco turned to look at her. "Your a speedster?" he gasped. She nodded. Then she used her super strength to push at the invisible barrier. She could feel the resistance, but it was no match for her kryptonian blood. Soon, she felt it break and she walked on through.
Immediately Barry went to join her.

"Seriously, Kara," Barry laughed. "Why are you here?" Kara looked into his eyes and realized that he really wanted the answer. "Because I wanted to be there for you. I normally can't, and I miss spending time with you." Barry smiled. "Thank you. Seriously. This means so much to me." Kara nodded. "And I need your help. Badly," Barry said. Kara nodded. "Anything."

Oliver wanted to see Barry, so he went to Barry's work. When he walked in, he was greeted by staring police officers. He didn't know where Barry was, so he decided to ask the police captain.

He looked at the name on the desk. It read, "Captain Singh".
"Captain Singh?" Oliver asked. The Captain didn't even look up. "Yes?" he asked with clear annoyance. Oliver rolled his eyes. This was Barry's boss?
"I was wondering where I could find Barry Allen?" Oliver asked. Captain Singh sighed angrily. "He's in the lab," he replied. "Thanks," Oliver said as he started for the door.
Then Captain Singh looked up. "Oliver Queen?" he asked with shock. "Yes?" Oliver asked. "Why are you looking for Barry?" Oliver smirked. Sometimes he let his playboy lose. This was one of those times. "No rudeness intended, but that's not your business."
Captain Singh looked shocked, but Oliver didn't pause to look at his face as he headed up to where Captain Singh had said Barry's lab was.
